Naloxone education in Charleston matters because opioid overdoses can slow or stop breathing before help arrives.

For Naloxone Awareness Day, this is the public health point worth repeating clearly: naloxone can help restore breathing during an opioid overdose until emergency responders arrive.

That is why overdose prevention education matters in workplaces, homes, schools, recovery organizations, and community spaces across Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties.

FAVOR Lowcountry supports harm reduction, peer support, and recovery access throughout the Lowcountry.

One Dose, Many Lives Charleston is happening today. Join us for Naloxone Awareness Day as we come together to honor lives saved, share recovery stories, and increase awareness about overdose prevention in our community.

Live performances by Altar Ego and Nar2D2, guest speakers, community partners, and powerful stories from people whose lives have been impacted by naloxone.
