Supporting the safety, wellbeing, and choice of survivors of domestic violence and others impacted by relationship abuse through crisis services, advocacy, and education. Compass Center was created from the merger of Family Violence Prevention Center and The Women's Center to help individuals and families prevent and end domestic violence and become self-sufficient through career and financial education, assistance with legal resources, and adolescent empowerment programs. Looking for a way to get involved with Domestic Violence Awareness Month? Consider contributing to Compass Center's DVAM Donation Drive! All October, we are collecting toiletries and personal care items for survivors fleeing domestic violence.

Full-size unopened items can be dropped off at our office at 210 Henderson St, Chapel Hill, NC, weekdays between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm, as well as from 5-7 pm on 10/20 and 10/28. Our highest priority items are baby wipes, shampoo, conditioner, soap/body wash, toothpaste, and adult toothbrushes.
