Join us to build skills to support our community! Free and open to all.

We are pleased to invite you to a community-based trauma-informed care mini workshop on April 28th from 5:30-7:30pm at the Drakeford Library in Carrboro. At the workshop, participants will learn how trauma, like abuse, neglect, domestic violence, war, natural disasters, or systemic oppression, impacts individuals and communities and gain tools and strategies to create safe, supportive, and culturally responsive spaces in your workplace and community. The workshop is free to attend and open to everyone. A light dinner will be provided. You can register via the QR code in the flyer or the link below. The workshop is co-hosted by the Community Empowerment Fund (CEF), Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, Inter-Faith Council for Social Services (IFC), and NEXT Carrboro-Chapel Hill. Join us to work towards creating a safer and more supportive environment for our community.
