Elevated Access We are a volunteer pilot network flying people in private aircraft at no cost to access gender-affirming care, abortion, and other pregnancy care.

We believe in bodily autonomy and the freedom to make private health care decisions without government intervention. As not everyone can receive the care they need in their communities, we started Elevated Access to make healthcare more accessible and equitable. Elevated Access anonymously transports patients, providers, and support staff where they need to go. Our volunteer pilots are fully vetted and generously donate their time, skills, and aircraft. We can fly into 3000 airports around the country, and 90% of the US population lives within a thirty-minute drive of these regional airports. We only accept passenger referrals from organizations such as practical support organizations, funders, and healthcare providers. Please contact us about partnership opportunities. We are actively recruiting volunteer pilots from across the country who wish to make meaningful differences in people’s lives. Patients flown by our pilots often face extreme barriers to accessing healthcare including lack of funds, no time off work, inadequate transport, unavailable childcare, and a bevy of hostile laws restricting access to care. Pilots tell us that it can be a highly rewarding, transformative experience to fly for Elevated Access. Contact us today to start the application process. We believe that access to healthcare should be just plane simple!

The fight for reproductive justice is real. Every passenger we fly deserves to be lifted higher with love and support for their bodily autonomy and reproductive decisions.

🎉🎉 Y’all have been amazing, and we’ve already received dozens of doula interest applications.

🚨🚨 We are approaching the necessary critical mass for our initial trial of this project, so we’ll be closing the form on September 10th. Link is in our bio!

August 19 is National Aviation Day, so we’re here to celebrate aviation’s role in reproductive justice. Our volunteer pilots along with airlines serve a vital role in helping people overcome barriers to their bodily autonomy and reproductive care.

People needing abortion continue to face more and more barriers to care. We’re beginning an effort to provide paid doula support for passengers that request it from wheels up at home to wheels down when they return. More information for abortion doulas interested in providing support at the link in our bio!

If you’re going to be in Oshkosh next week, we’d love to meet you! Join our part of the aviation community that works every day to support the most basic freedom: the freedom to control your own body!

We know it sucks right now, but we’re here to reduce the suck. Every person deserves access to the healthcare they need and want, and we’re here to make sure they can get to it safely and comfortably. This is reproductive justice: people able to have or not have children as they wish, people raising children in safe and healthy environments.

If you believe in these basic human rights, spread the word, donate, volunteer to help.

While LGBTQIA+ elders had fought for acceptance for years, the uprising began a larger cultural shift towards acceptance. As Christian Nationalism continues to gain power, the work of resistance continues. And every Pride, we celebrate joy for ourselves and our community.

Four years ago, the Supreme Court took away the right to abortion before viability. A year ago, they took away the right of parents to make healthcare decisions to keep their children healthy and happy. We’ve always needed more than Roe, and we cannot settle for things like viability limits for abortion or barriers to gender-affirming care for minors. We work every day to help people overcome geographical barriers that no one should face. Your rights and access to quality, affirming, affordable healthcare should not depend on your zip code.

As we celebrate Pride Month and Juneteenth, we’re reminded that struggles for liberation are deeply interconnected. In this month, Flight Coordinator Maryam would like to honor Black resilience, celebrate Black q***r and trans history, and highlight the ongoing work of collective liberation by honoring Black LGBTQ+ leaders, like Miss Major Griffin Gracy.
