Saturday, June 27th, enjoy a beautiful day with beautiful people! OnJune 27th you're invited to the first annual memorial ride to honor the life of Cynthanee Heeron and benefit Balaam’s Donkey, local nonprofit, charity, 501c3 that serves underserved people living with self-care deficits. Cynthanee devoted a large portion of her life serving others! She was COO of Balaam’s Donkey whose mission is ensuring people understand they are heard, valued and seen. The current focus at Balaam’s Donkey is the creation of a healthcare initiative that will place Oral-care Aides on all teams that serve people with self-care deficits. Oral disease can be fatal and is linked to many systematic issues. People who require assistance with ADL(activities of daily living) routinely suffer severe oral disease. An OCA(Oral-care Aide) will stop the rampant progression and consequences of oral disease in this population.
As Balaam’s Donkey creates systems and curriculum to implement the healthcare initiative, it is intentional to pour new hearts and listening ears into their volunteers who attend Universities studying to become future healthcare providers.
