We are excited to share a NEW Team Zimbabwe opportunity for our cycling community!

This year we are teaming up with the Denver Century Ride on September 27, 2025 to raise funds for Heather Chimhoga Orphan Care. The Denver Century Ride is an epic urban cycling tour where you can discover the Mile High City from the seat of your bike! This year the Denver Century Ride has added a sweet 12 Mile Ice Cream Ride to compliment their traditional 25, 50, 85 or 100 mile courses. With E-bikes permitted, there is a ride for just about anyone. If you sign up with our team you will automatically get 25% off of your Denver Century Ride entry fee. Put your own team together or ride individually while getting financial support for your effort.

Follow these 2 easy steps to get riding:

1. Go to the Denver Century Ride website, select your desired ride and fill in your rider information. When asked if you want to join a team, select yes and you’ll find Zimbabwe Mission Partnership at the bottom of the list of teams. 2. Click here for our Team Zimbabwe fundraising site: https://secure.qgiv.com/event/teamzimbabwe-denvercenturyride2025/ Click "Set Up My Fundraising Page" to create your own customizable fundraising page. After your fundraising page is created with Team Zimbabwe, you can forward it to friends and family and post to social media to get started raising funds for the orphans!

All riders who raise at least $100 will receive a custom 2025 Team Zimbabwe T-shirt and those who raise over $250 will have their choice of a variety of Team Zimbabwe cycling jerseys.

We want to give a big THANK YOU!! to our participants and supporters of Team Zimbabwe 2025! Not only was it a beautiful day at Riverdale Regional Park to MOVE for the ORPHANS, but together we raised almost $64,000 for the vulnerable children at Heather Chimhoga Orphan Care. These funds will help provide HOPE in the form of medical, educational, nutritional and spiritual support to orphans in rural Zimbabwe. THANK YOU!!!

Tomorrow is the big day and the weather looks perfect! If you are joining us tomorrow for Team Zimbabwe at Riverdale Regional Park, please be advised that there is a detour to the main entrance due to construction. See the attached map for temporary entrance information and location of our Team Zimbabwe Pavilion.

You can check in anytime between 8:00-10:30 a.m. From there you can start your activity, whether it is taking advantage of the miles of cycling trails, walking the path around the lake, or playing games at the pavilion. At the pavilion, we will also have information about the Zimbabwe Mission Partnership and Heather Chimhoga Orphan Care (HCOC), items for sale benefitting HCOC, and a special book signing with Roberta Pippitt. Lunch for registered participants will be served at 11:30 a.m.

Roberta and her husband, Ralph, began their mission work caring for orphans in Zimbabwe in 1997 and Roberta has written a book about their amazing journey. You can get a copy of Roberta's book, meet the author, and even get your copy signed!
