Donating food to our pantries = providing meals for roughly 900 families that visit our pantries every month.

- Filling Breakfasts
- Hygiene and Household items

As we enter the holiday season, we’re helping our neighbors celebrate with nourishment and dignity through our Holiday Meal Kits.

From late October through December, every family visiting our food pantries will receive a kit with the food needed to prepare a holiday meal. Thanks to Enbridge, all the food for these kits is covered! Now, we need your help collecting $25 grocery gift cards from stores like Food Lion and Walmart so families can choose the protein that best fits their needs. Each family will receive $50 in gift cards in their kits.

What goes great with cake? Coffee! Our staff got to cheer on our soon-to-be neighbors last night at their 2026 Gala. Esteamed Coffee is opening doors in our community - and doing it with love, dignity, and really good coffee.

Genesis UMC has been part of NeighborUp's story for years, and their partnership shone during Church at the Park two weeks ago.

The Genesis UMC community gathered at Bond Park for Church at the Park for worship, a potluck, and to focus on mission work in their community.

Genesis has been a longtime partner of NeighborUp, showing up for our neighbors to fight food insecurity and offering tremendous support earlier this year for the families in the Chatham Estates. During Church at the Park, their generosity brought in an incredible 469 pounds of food for our food pantries.

We are so grateful for partners like Genesis who continue to turn their commitment to serving others into tangible help for our neighbors.

More than 1,300 volunteers means more than 1,300 reasons to celebrate💙

And celebrate we did! Yesterday, 300 volunteers and staff members gathered over good food to celebrate the impact in our community and, just as importantly, each other. Volunteers who joined us this year shared laughter and memories with those who have served for upwards of 50 years (we see you Ms. Becky).

No better way to spend a Sunday than sharing where we've been and where we're going with the heartbeat of who we are. And in the midst of all the celebration, our volunteers donated 375lbs of food for our pantries!

Enbridge joined us last week to put their motto into action and “fuel futures.” Their generous gift, and their well-oiled assembly line, are directly fueling impact in our communities.

The Enbridge team donated and packed Holiday Meal Bags for our food pantries. Each bag is filled with the ingredients needed to make a holiday meal, along with $50 in grocery store gift cards so families can purchase the meat of their choice.
