What an incredible honor! 🤍

The Whyld Foundation was presented with an honorary recognition certificate from the Governor’s Mansion for the work we’re doing in our community.

We are beyond grateful for this recognition and even more thankful for the community that continues to show up, believe in our mission, and help us make a difference in the lives of local children.

A small nonprofit with a whole lot of heart, making a big impact. 🤍

Sometimes support looks like a meal. Sometimes it looks like a hairbrush, a clean shirt, or having the personal care items you need to walk back into class feeling a little more confident. 🤍

Carson Middle School gave us their dream shopping list—items they see students needing every day—and our community helped us turn that list into a reality.

Our new Essential Items Room will give students in need access to things like:

• Bras & personal essentials
• Hairbrushes & hygiene products
• Body wash, deodorant & self-care items
• Easy grab-and-go foods for hungry tummies
• Everyday necessities that help kids feel comfortable, confident and cared for

Because it’s hard to focus on math, reading or simply being a kid when you’re hungry or worried about something as basic as having deodorant or clean essentials.

These things may seem small—but to a child who needs them, they’re anything but small.

We are so grateful to Carson Middle School for trusting us with their vision and to this incredible community for continuing to make our mission possible.

Feed them. Support them. Remind them they matter. 🤍

WHAT IS AN ESSENTIAL ROOM?

Our Essential Rooms are safe, accessible spaces located directly inside local schools where students can discreetly get the everyday essentials they may not have access to at home.

They are stocked with things like hygiene products, toiletries, clothing, school supplies, snacks, food and other basic necessities.

There is no complicated qualification process. When a student has a need, our goal is simple: meet them where they are and help fill it.

Because sometimes something as small as clean socks, deodorant, a snack or a toothbrush can help a child feel more comfortable, confident and ready to learn.

It’s not just a room of supplies. It’s a hand up when a child needs one. 🤍

The Whyld Foundation started with a simple mission: make sure kids had food. 🤍

But the deeper we’ve stepped into our schools, the more we’ve seen.

Sometimes a child needs a meal. Sometimes they need shampoo, clean clothes, hygiene products, or simply to know that someone sees them.

Whyld has become more than food. It’s about showing up wherever our kids need us.

And every dollar raised goes right back into our community — right back to them. 🤍

As we’ve expanded into more schools and begun supporting older students, we’ve been given the opportunity to see needs that go far beyond an empty stomach.

Food will always be at the heart of what we do — but today, Whyld also helps provide personal hygiene products, essential items, clothing, school necessities, and other resources that allow kids to feel supported, confident, and cared for.

And the part we’re most proud of?

Every dollar raised through The Whyld Foundation goes directly back into our community. Into our schools. Into resources. Into essential items. Into the hands of local kids who need them.

We’re not just filling bellies anymore.
We’re filling gaps. We’re meeting needs. We’re showing up. 🤍

And we’re only getting started.
