Carson City Host Lions gathered with their friends and families at Ronald Wilson Park on Monday, August 31st for the annual family picnic. We enjoyed good food and great fellowship!

Immediate Past District Governor Paul Silva joined us. He presented the Club Excellence Award for 2025-2026 from Lions International to Carson City Host. We earned the award which honors clubs and Lion leaders who demonstrate outstanding leadership, membership growth, impactful service and humanitarian contributions. Great job Carson City Host Lions!

We hosted a great "Meet 'N Greet" for people interested in starting a new club in South Lake Tahoe / Stateline on April 4th at the El Dorado County Library in South Lake Tahoe. We had Lions from Carson City, Sparks Spanish Springs, Fernley, and our District Governor Paul Silva from Yerington. Best of all, 5 people from the area indicated an interest in starting a Lions club! We're going to have an organizational meeting in the near future to start a branch club of Carson City Host.
