🧦❤️ SOCKTOBER IS HERE! ❤️🧦

This October, Carson City Elks Lodge #2177 is collecting NEW SOCKS to help people experiencing homelessness in our community.

A simple pair of socks can provide warmth, comfort, and a little dignity to someone who needs it. ❤️

There are two easy ways to help:

🧦 DROP OFF: Bring new socks to the lodge throughout October.

📦 SHOP ONLINE: Scan the QR code on the poster to visit our Amazon Sock Registry. Your socks will be shipped directly to the lodge, and we’ll take care of getting the donations where they’re needed.

Every pair makes a difference! Help us make SOCKTOBER a huge success. 🧦❤️

📣 **NOW HIRING: LODGE SECRETARY** 📣

Are you looking for a way to become more involved with our Elks Lodge? We have a **paid Secretary position** available, and we’d love to hear from you!

The Lodge Secretary plays an important role in keeping our lodge running smoothly, including:
📝 Maintaining accurate records
👥 Managing membership
💰 Receiving money
📣 Helping ensure smooth communication
🤝 Supporting the Exalted Ruler and officers with lodge business

⏰ **Time commitment:** Approximately **30–40 hours per month**, although some months may require additional time.

🎓 **Training & Support:** You will receive proper training and plenty of support and backup. You won’t be expected to figure it all out on your own!

💵 **Paid Position:** This is a rare paid position within the lodge, with a **modest allowance paid once a month.**
