We would love for you to support this important initiative!

We are looking for businesses and philanthropists to step up. In continuation of the Carson City Schools Foundation annual giving campaign “Funding Future Dreams,” an anonymous donor has challenged the community to meet the foundation’s $60,000 goal and promised to match contributions up to that amount. Any funds raised in excess of $60K will be used to provide additional support to students and teachers in the Carson City School District.

The Carson City School District, on behalf of the Carson City Schools Foundation (CCSF), is hosting another giveaway opportunity for employees to win one (1) of two (2) free iPads, donated to the Foundation by Greater Nevada Credit Union.

To enter to win, please register by making a donation with the Payroll Deduction Form before November 30, 2022. If you are already signed up to donate through a payroll deduction, great, you are already entered into the drawing. The winners of the drawing will be announced Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022.

The Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting community involvement and investments to expand education opportunities in our schools.

One of the iPads will be awarded to an employee who signs up within the next month to make a regular contribution through the Payroll Deduction program.

The other iPad will be awarded to an employee who has already previously signed up to make a regular contribution through the Payroll Deduction program. As of October 13, 2022, only 108 total employees have signed up for a payroll deduction to benefit the Carson City Schools Foundation, so odds of winning are very favorable, especially for employees who sign up within the next month.

Last year, the Foundation awarded an iPad and keyboard to Gary Casselman, Discovery Science teacher at Carson High School.

To help you understand how meaningful your donation(s) will be: $1 per payroll = $24 per year. If 960 employees donated $24 per year, we could raise $23,040 annually.
