Yesterday, we had the privilege of celebrating and honoring our retiring Western Trails staff members with a small token of our appreciation from the PTA.

Thank you for the years of dedication, compassion, and commitment you have given to our students, families, and school community. The impact you’ve made will be felt for generations of Wildcats, and your contributions have helped make Western Trails a special place to learn and grow.

We wish you all the happiness, relaxation, and new adventures that retirement brings. Congratulations on this well-deserved next chapter, and thank you for everything you’ve done for our students! 💙🐾🎉

What an incredible day celebrating our Western Trails 5th graders! 🎉💙

A huge thank you to Target Glendale Heights, Nothing Bundt Cakes Bloomingdale, and Pronto’s Pizza Glendale Heights for your generous donations and contributions that helped make today so special for our students. We are so grateful for the support from our community! 🍕🧁🎯

We’d also like to thank the Carol Stream Police Department officers for stopping by and celebrating with us — the students loved having you there! 🚓👏

🍊 ORANGE you glad we CRUSHED another amazing school year?! 🍊

Our PTA wrapped up the year with one last “sweet” thank you for our incredible teachers and staff! From Crush drinks to oranges and snacks, we wanted to celebrate all the hard work, dedication, and love you poured into our students this year. You truly CRUSHED it! 🧡

A huge THANK YOU to all of the wonderful volunteers who helped put this together and made this appreciation gift so special. We couldn’t do it without your support, creativity, and generosity!

To our teachers and staff — thank you for helping our students grow, learn, and shine all year long. We hope this little treat added a little zest to your day! 🍊✨

Color Run photo dump… Part 3! 🌈📸

We are still blown away by the incredible turnout and energy from last night’s Western Trails PTA Color Run! Thank you again to everyone who helped make this event such a colorful success.

From volunteers getting absolutely COVERED in chalk, to families cheering on runners, to students crossing the finish line with huge smiles — every picture captures how special this night was. 💙💛

We’re still smiling after such a colorful, fun-filled evening! Thank you again to every volunteer, family member, staff member, and supporter who helped make this event such a memorable success for our students.

From the colorful chalk stations to the smiles at the finish line, every moment showed what an amazing Western Trails community we have. 💙💛

What an AMAZING night at the Western Trails PTA Color Run! 🌈🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

We are so thankful for everyone who helped make this event such a huge success! Thank you to all of our incredible volunteers — from setting up, handing out donated water, throwing color chalk, cleaning up, and capturing all of these wonderful memories through photos. Events like this would not be possible without your time and support!

A huge thank you as well to all of the amazing Western Trails families who continue to come out and support our events year after year. Seeing our students, families, and staff having so much fun together made the night extra special! 💙💛

Special thanks to the Carol Stream Police Officers for joining us, encouraging our runners, and leading students in their warm-up exercises before the run. The kids absolutely loved it!

Get ready to run, laugh, and get COVERED in color while making unforgettable memories with friends and classmates! Don’t forget to wear white or light colors for the brightest color splash effect! 😎🎨

And the fun doesn’t stop at the finish line — Kona Ice will be on site with cool treats available for purchase! 🍧

🎨🏃‍♀️ COLOR RUN COUNTDOWN! 🏃‍♂️🎨

One more week until the Western Trails PTA Color Run! Join us for a colorful evening of fun on:

📅 Tuesday, May 19
⏰ 4:45 PM – 6:00 PM
📍 Western Trails School Playground

🌧️ Please note: If Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate, our rain date will be Thursday, May 21.

Wear your brightest smiles and don’t forget — white shirts make the colors POP! 🤍🌈

🍧 Kona Ice will be on site selling their delicious frozen treats, so come cool off with a colorful cup after the run!

👟 This is a FREE event open to all students, but all children must be accompanied by an adult.

We can’t wait to see everyone run, laugh, and get covered in color! 🎉
