Carol Stream Parade A Carol Stream tradition since 1987!! The Carol Stream July 4th Parade has been a village tradition since 1987.

Many community groups, organizations and clubs have participated in the parade. The parade has featured the US Navy Marching Band, the Glenbard North Marching Band, the Jesse White Tumblers, the Barefoot Hawaiians, the South Shore Drill Team and many others who have traveled to help celebrate with Carol Stream residents.

WE NEED YOU!

The 2026 Carol Stream 4th of July Parade is looking for volunteers to help make Carol Stream's largest community event a success!

As we celebrate America's 250th Birthday, thousands of residents and visitors will line the parade route to enjoy one of our community's most cherished traditions. It takes an incredible team of volunteers to keep everything running smoothly, safely, and on schedule.

Volunteers are needed both before the parade and during the event to assist with participant check-in, staging, logistics, route support, and other important duties.

⏰ Volunteers should report to Simkus Recreation Center at 8:00 AM

Whether you can lend a hand for a few hours or spend the morning helping out, your support makes a difference!

Parade Partner Spotlight: Carol Stream Park District

The Carol Stream 4th of July Parade simply wouldn't be the same without the incredible participation and support of the Carol Stream Park District!

From future soccer stars and championship ball teams to talented dancers, gymnasts, and performers, the Park District showcases the very best of what makes our community special. Year after year, their clubs, teams, programs, and participants help fill the parade route with energy, excitement, and hometown pride.

The spirit of America is reflected in strong communities, and few organizations embody that spirit better than the Carol Stream Park District. Through the countless recreational, educational, cultural, and athletic opportunities they provide, they help bring neighbors together, inspire our youth, and strengthen the fabric of our community.
