Carol Stream Parade A Carol Stream tradition since 1987!! The Carol Stream July 4th Parade has been a village tradition since 1987.

Many community groups, organizations and clubs have participated in the parade. The parade has featured the US Navy Marching Band, the Glenbard North Marching Band, the Jesse White Tumblers, the Barefoot Hawaiians, the South Shore Drill Team and many others who have traveled to help celebrate with Carol Stream residents.

Looking for the Best Parade Viewing Spot? We Have a Secret!

Every year, thousands of people line the streets for the Carol Stream 4th of July Parade, and some sections of the parade route can become very crowded early in the morning. Finding a front-row seat can sometimes be a challenge!

Here's an insider tip from the Parade Committee:

📍 The section of Lies Road between Merbach Court and Fountain View Drive is often one of the least congested areas along the route, making it much easier to find a great viewing spot—even if you arrive later than the early birds.

But that's not the only advantage...

🍭 Because this section is near the end of the parade route, many parade participants are looking to finish distributing their candy and giveaways before reaching the end. That often means spectators in this area may receive some extra treats from generous parade entrants!

So if you're looking for:
✅ Easier parking and access
✅ Less crowded viewing
✅ A better chance at front-row seating
✅ Bonus candy and giveaways

Then consider setting up your chairs along Lies Road between Merbach Court and Fountain View Drive!

A Special Thank You to Kelley Kozlowski!

The Carol Stream 4th of July Parade Committee would like to extend our sincere gratitude to local artist Kelley Kozlowski for once again creating the official logo for the 2026 Carol Stream 4th of July Parade!

Kelley grew up right here in Carol Stream, and for the past several years she has generously shared her talent and creativity by designing the parade's annual logo. Her artwork helps capture the spirit of our community and makes each year's celebration even more memorable.

As we celebrate America's 250th Birthday in 2026, we're especially proud to showcase another outstanding design from a talented artist with deep roots in our community.
