The next sneak peek from our Howling Treasures online auction is Fetching the Firewood.

Celebrate rustic holiday traditions with the 1995 Fetching the Firewood ornament from the Hallmark Keepsake Folk Art Americana Collection. Sculpted by Hallmark artist Linda Sickman, this hand-carved style piece captures a hardworking husky dog hitched to a wooden sled laden with a bundle of logs tied with twine, accompanied by a small child in a warm winter outfit and stocking cap. Crafted to look like traditional carved wood, this ornament adds rustic warmth and timeless rustic charm to your Christmas tree. Complete with a braided jute hanging cord, it makes a thoughtful gift for dog lovers, fans of rustic Americana decor, and vintage Hallmark ornament collectors!

Martin is seriously one of the nicest dogs we have gotten in to rescue in a long time. He was at a high volume animal control in our area and his time was up, but he was such a favorite at the AC that they begged us to make room. We are so glad we were able to take him. He is wonderful.

Marty came to us in pretty rough shape. He had open sores and hot spots and was obviously not well taken care of. Now that he is back in health (he still needs a couple more pounds) he is looking for his forever home. Marty loves other dogs, loves humans even more and is just a doll. He still has lots of youngster energy but is past that crazy puppy stage and would do great with other dogs, or as your only cuddle boi. Come meet him! https://www.adoptahusky.com/home/adoption-process
