Help Make a Child's Birthday Extra Special!

The Rotary Club of Carol Stream is partnering with the Humanitarian Service Project (HSP) to support their incredible Children's Birthday Project, and we need your help!

For many families struggling to make ends meet, celebrating a child's birthday can be difficult. Through HSP's Children's Project, children receive not only nutritious fresh food for their families, but also a birthday celebration kit and presents to help make their special day memorable.

Sadly, for some children, this may be the only birthday celebration they receive all year.

That's where our community can make a difference.

🧸 We're collecting new and un-used toys, including:
• Dolls and stuffed animals
• LEGO® sets and building toys
• Board games and puzzles
• Sports balls and outdoor toys
• Craft and science kits
• Toy vehicles, trains, and RC cars
• Play food and kitchen sets
• Jewelry, accessories, and more!

Because of your incredible support of the Ultimate Golf Raffle this spring, the Rotary Club of Carol Stream was able to award six scholarships to local high school seniors!

We would like to congratulate Rachel Knaack from West Chicago High School, as well as Ethan Davis, Madelynn Gomez, Gabriella Vivacqua, and Adrianne Panasewicz from Glenbard North High School.

We had the honor of welcoming Rachel and Ethan to last week's Rotary meeting, where they shared their future plans and aspirations.

Congratulations to all of our scholarship recipients! We wish you the very best as you begin this exciting new chapter in college and look forward to seeing all that you accomplish.

Today, we were proud to donate $5,000 to Outreach Community Center!

These funds were raised through our annual Chili Open this spring, and it's because of your support that we're able to make a meaningful impact in our community.

Outreach Community Center provides food assistance, counseling services, educational programs, youth activities, and other vital resources to individuals and families in need throughout our community. Their work helps ensure that people have access to support, hope, and opportunities to thrive.

Thank you to everyone who participated, sponsored, volunteered, and donated. Your generosity helps make moments like this possible and allows organizations such as Outreach Community Center to continue changing lives every day.

The 2026 Joe Kramer Chili Open was a huge success, and it's all thanks to our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters!

Event Highlights:
🌶️ Raised: $49,000
🌶️ Net Proceeds: $30,000
🏌️ Golfers: 122
🤝 Sponsors: 65

Because of your generosity, we are proud to donate $5,000 each to Outreach and the Ronald McDonald House, while also supporting other charitable work throughout the year.

Thank you to everyone who participated, sponsored, donated, and helped make this event such a tremendous success. Together, we are making a difference in our community and beyond!

Please join Rotary Club of Carol Stream on Saturday morning, 06/13/2026 for the quarterly Rotary Club of Carol Stream Adopt a Highway event!

We will meet at 8:45 AM near the concession stand at the Town Center. From there we will clean up Gary Avenue from Lies Rd to Fullerton Ave (both sides)

If you have not signed a waiver this year, you will need to sign one. Waivers will be available that morning.

Come join us and have a direct local impact on Carol Stream!

Please RSVP so we make sure we have enough supplies!

Today the Rotary Club of Carol Stream had the honor of cooking dinner for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Winfield.

It was a wonderful opportunity to give back and support families going through difficult times while their loved ones receive medical care nearby. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to help prepare and serve the meal. Small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
