Happening today starting at 9am!!! Rescue Pack provided food to help anyone attending MCP Rescue and Outreach’s FREE Pet Wellness Day. Get your pets healthy, safe and fed.

Join us Sunday, June 7th from 9AM–1PM for a FREE Pet Wellness Day focused on keeping animals healthy, safe, and with the families who love them.

Vaccines. Microchips. Supplies.
Resources for low cost spay/neuter for both dogs and cats!!

Prevention matters. Access matters.
Families trying to do right by their pets deserve support, not barriers.

This is grassroots work.
Neighbor to neighbor. Human to human. Animal to animal. The kind of work that changes outcomes before crisis begins.

Huge gratitude to DIA and every human helping build a city where care is more accessible and compassion leads the way.

We are so thrilled to hear Gabe is recovering and doing well. We can't wait to watch him find his furever home ❤ 🐾

We want to give a huge thank you to Rescue Pack! Through partnerships with manufacturers and retailers, Rescue Pack collects and distributes extra pet food and supplies that would otherwise be thrown out. With their help, we can save significantly on essential supplies each month. This has been especially impactful when it comes to cat litter—thanks to Rescue Pack and World's Best Cat Litter, we’ve been able to stock up and make sure there’s always enough quality litter at the shelter!

In addition to food and supplies, Rescue Pack recently established a medical fund. When ACL dog Gabe (pictured) needed to go out of state for knee surgery, they helped pay for his care. With Gabe currently recovering well, we’re so grateful to have Rescue Pack’s help with important expenses, from medical procedures to the everyday basics that keep our shelter running.

What an amazing day on Saturday at BARK: Walk For Chicago’s Animals! 🐾

We loved meeting so many passionate animal lovers at the Rescue Pack booth, sharing more about our mission, and connecting with the incredible Chicago rescue community. From our “Guess the Kibble Challenge” to meeting all the sweetest pups, it was such a fun and meaningful event from start to finish.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, learn about what we do, and support animals in need. Events like these remind us why we’re so passionate about helping pets and the people who care for them. ❤️

We’re grateful to have been part of such a special day benefiting Chicago’s animals - and we can’t wait for the next one! Anti-Cruelty

A heartwarming update from one of our Medical Grant recipients, Wolf.

Wolf is a German Shepherd puppy who has been dealing with wounds on his rear right leg since he was just a baby. The infection was progressively getting worse and we are so glad we could help German Shepherd Rescue, Inc cover costs for his biopsy surgeries.

Finally receiving a definitive diagnosis, Wolf has a treatment plan that will give him the correct care he needs. We are so glad we could help and are looking forward to seeing his healing journey! ❤🐶

We are so incredibly grateful to for their support of Wolf’s medical care. GSR was awarded a $1000 grant that paid for biopsies of Wolf’s leg. We now have a diagnosis and are working with a dermatologist for treatment. GSR has been hit hard with medical cases and these funds were so critical to help obtain a diagnosis and treatment plan. Thank you Rescue Pack — we are incredibly grateful for the work you do to support rescues!
