Bridge People Inc Our mission is to assist others, so they have the tools to feel empowered enough to be independent.

Our Programs

Assistance: Locating and making referrals for appropriate services, helping to apply for appropriate programs, job connections, Support-Post Employment to transition off of Assistance Based Programs, Mentoring, Veteran's Corner, helping refugee and recent transplant families from outside the U.S. get back on their feet and adjust to their new lives here in our community…

Education:

Life Skills Classes, Financial Readiness Classes, Basic Budgeting, High School Equivalency/G.E.D., ESL, Literacy, American Citizenship Test Tutoring, Employment Services: Job Readiness, Resume Writing/Job Application Workshops, Job Interview Workshops... Resettlement Programs: Introduction to American Customs for recent refugee families, Engkish for Non-Native Speakers, Employment Services…

Just in case the whole snow disaster, "State of Emergency" and "Don't be on the roads unless you absolutely must" isn't understood we will be closed for at least Monday - Wednesday. As always, in case of emergency PLEASE call 911, not us. We are not emergency services. Messages will not be retrieved until we are open again.

As always, a massive thank you to the road crews, transportation, and emergency personnel who remove the snow and keep us safe.

Wishing everyone a safe, restful, and Happy Labor Day weekend!! In observance of the holiday, B.R.I.D.G.E. People's office will be closed from noon on Friday, August 29th - 10am Tuesday, September 2, 2025. All calls and emails will be returned in the order they are received Tuesday, 9/2/25 after 10 am.
As always anyone needing utility assistance is encouraged to email us at [email protected] with your full name, phone number, and the name of the utility company you need assistance with currently.
