I’m so excited to finally announce that my feature documentary, All Our Yesterdays, is coming to the Harris Theater for its Pittsburgh Premiere this October.
There will be two special screenings:
📅 Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 7:00 PM
📅 Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 2:00 PM
📍 Harris Theater, Pittsburgh
Although the film begins in my hometown of Swinford, County Mayo, it is not just a Mayo story. It is an Irish story.
Through the memories of one small town, the film takes us on a journey through 250 years of Irish history—our hardships, resilience, emigration, families and the connection to home that remains with us, no matter where life takes us.
Music is also at the heart of this story. For generations, Irish music has travelled with our people across the world. It became a universal language—bringing happiness and joy, keeping memories alive and connecting people to one another and to the home they left behind. Even when people were separated by thousands of miles, the music gave them a shared sense of identity and belonging.
Whether your family came from Mayo, Galway, Donegal, Cork, Kerry or any other part of Ireland, I hope you will see and hear something of your own family’s story reflected on screen.
The Voices of a Town. The Story of a Nation.
I’ll be travelling to Pittsburgh for both screenings and will take part in a Q&A after each one. I’m really looking forward to meeting people, hearing your stories and sharing the film with the Pittsburgh Irish community.

A very special thank you to our wonderful narrator, Nora McBurney, who has been proudly flying the All Our Yesterdays flag in Pittsburgh. Nora’s support, encouragement and connection to the city have meant so much to me throughout this journey.
My sincere thanks also to the Irish Society for Education and Charity, the Ireland Institute of Pittsburgh, the Harris Theater and the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust for helping to make these screenings possible.
Please share the news with your family, friends and anyone with an Irish connection. I would love to see you there.
Pittsburgh, I cannot wait to meet you and bring All Our Yesterdays to your city. ☘️
