What a marvelous day it is; we woke up this morning clothed in our right mind and with the activity of our limbs. What a blessing has been bestowed upon us!

As I was doing my morning devotions, I came across this poem which blessed and encouraged my heart.

God is in every tomorrow,
Therefore I live for today,
Certain of finding the sunrise,
Guidance and strength for my way;
Power for each moment of weakness,
Hope for each moment of pain,
Comfort for every sorrow,
Sunshine and joy after rain.

God, in His infinite wisdom, gave mankind the ability of free will; we have the option of making our own decisions regardless to whether they are right or wrong. God knew that in allowing us to make our own decisions that we would ultimately make decisions that would prove to be detrimental, not only to us but others as well. And even though it would grieve Him, He didn’t want puppet-like people but a people who would want to do the right thing and then do it. Every parent knows that their children will falter at times and make mistakes—some out of disobedience and some just because that’s how life is—but they also know that those mistakes can prove to be the best teacher of life’s lessons.

It is because of God’s infinite wisdom that He made provision—before the foundation of the world—for everything we would ever need, not only in this life but in eternal life as well. Yes, He gave us free will and because He knew that we wouldn’t always make the right decisions He put a plan in place (Jesus’ death and resurrection) that would eradicate sin and made salvation available to all who would receive it. There comes a time when we have to stop blaming others for our failures/mistakes; we have to stop whining and complaining and having a pity party and take ownership of the matter and move on. Make no mistake, there will be times that we will falter and fail but it is those times/things that God can and will use as our steppingstone to bigger and better things. The decision is ours, we can stay where we’re at—Blame Boulevard, Complaint Circle, Failure Freeway, Past Pavilion, Pity Path, or Whining Way—or move on to that which God has destined for us; Heaven Bound Highway. With that being said, the assignment should we choose to accept it is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and receive Him for the pardon and remission of our sins and walk by faith knowing that if God be for us, He is more than the world against us.

Listen and take heed…
I call heaven and earth to witness against you that today I have set before you life or death, blessing or curse. Oh, that you would choose life; that you and your children might live! (Deuteronomy 30:19 — TLB)

We’ve all had our share of life’s ups and downs and since this life isn’t over we can be sure that there will be more; however, we must not allow the downs to outweigh the ups. It can be hard to be positive when it seems as though all hell has broken loose; but even in the midst of those hardships, it is imperative that we keep a positive attitude. There are times when even the positive looks negative but one thing we must always remember is that we have the ability, opportunity and authority to see the glass of life as half full and not half empty.

The Word of God of states, “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” We were created with the knowledge of right and wrong and the ability to decide the path that we would take and then live it to the best of our ability. Yes, life is full of twists and turns, highs and lows, joy and sadness, ups and downs, and narrow roads and crooked roads but, God has a plan already prepared for us and it’s up to us to say yes and accept the plan and then follow it. When we follow the plan God has for us, we are guaranteed that all things—good or bad—work for our good; that is to those that love God and are called according to His purpose. With that being said, it is important, that we acknowledge, comprehend and understand that we didn’t choose God, He chose us. Jesus died for us; He died so that we would have the opportunity to have an abundant life and spend eternity with Him, His Father and the Holy Spirit.

Take heed…
You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as presenting all that I Am], He may give it to you. (John 15:16 — AMPC)

Focus — 12/11/25
The adversary of this world appears to be gaining the victory; his attacks have been turned up and everywhere we look we can see the sudden destruction, overwhelming devastation and luring distractions that are taking place, not only in the world, but in the believers’ life as well. However, we must not look on the things of this world but keep our minds, eyes and spirit fixated on the Word of God and His report. We must remain alert, awake, watchful and most importantly, faithful.

Though the storms keep on raging in our life, and sometimes it's hard to tell the night from day, we must be ever mindful that Jesus’ death on the Cross won us the surpassing victory over the adversary and his deeds. And it is because of that victory that we know He’ll lead us safely to that blessed place He has prepared for us. The adversary will always present one scheme or another to knock us off our perch of righteousness but we must be rock solid in our sanctified minds that if the storms don’t cease and even when the winds keep on blowing in our life, our soul must been anchored in the Lord. With that being said, now is not the time for us to be discouraged, become distracted, nor fearful of the sudden destructions our eyes see, but keep ourselves rooted and grounded in the Word of God knowing that we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.

Take heed…
Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour. Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset—rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined], knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world. (1 Peter 5:8-9 — AMPC)

11/25/2025

Steadfast — 11/25/25
Talk to anybody and they will tell you that they are going through something; if it isn’t one thing it’s another and for the born-again believer, it’s as if the adversary has turned up the fires from hell and is extending his reach farther than he has in the past. Why, because he knows that time is winding down and he is trying to get as many as he can to spend eternity with him in hell. Make no mistake people; time as we know it is soon to end. The signs and times, the prophecies spoken of in the Bible are being fulfilled in our very presence, and if we are not mindful to continue pressing our way in the things of God we may very well lose out on the promise of spending eternity with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Yes, it appears as though all hell has broken loose and that the promises that we’ve stood on for years seem as though they are not going to come to pass; however, we must not believe the whisperings, insinuations and innuendos of the adversary but continue to press on. And that pressing may even be in tears but press on we must.

We must learn how to fix our faith on nothing but the Word of God and acknowledge, comprehend and understand that it is the truth and nothing but the truth. When we were helpless and without strength, powerless to provide for our own salvation, Jesus died as our substitute and for all those that will receive Him as their personal Savior, they are guaranteed a place in eternity with Him. We must be like a hawk resting on his perch; when the fiercest of winds comes, he does not allow his grip to be moved because he has his gaze fixed on that which he knows will fortify and strengthen him. With that being said, it is imperative that we remain firm in our purpose to serve God; that we do not become double minded, wavering in our belief; that we remain secure in our salvation; and that we firmly rest on the promises of God. God’s Word is true; those who endure to the end will receive a crown of glory. So, we can cry when needed but we must not allow ourselves to be moved from our position of faith but hang on, firm in our purpose, unwavering in our belief, firmly established in the Word of God, and our gaze intently fixed on the Cross of Calvary knowing that our final destination is the new heaven and new earth; The New Jerusalem, where there will be no more pain, no more sorrow, no more sickness, and no more death. Hallelujah!!!!

Take heed…
So now, beloved ones, stand firm, stable, and enduring. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord, because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures. (1 Corinthians 15:58 — TPT)

Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord [always doing your best and doing more than is needed], being continually aware that your labor [even to the point of exhaustion] in the Lord is not futile nor wasted [it is never without purpose]. (1 Corinthians 15:58 — AMP)

Encourage — 11/8/35
As we watch the sudden devastation that is going on in the world--floods, fires, typhoons, etc.--and the everyday
challenges that we go through, it is imperative that we rely on and trust God and hearken unto what His Word says. It’s a fact that the adversary, old Satan himself, is
doing all he can to tempt and draw the people of God away from the truth. Satan is a liar and will always be a liar, it’s not in his nature to tell the truth and he uses his weapons of confusion, deceit, trickery, depression, and oppression to lure the people away from God.

STOP! This is a new day. This year, 2025 is coming to a close and it is imperative that we take the necessary steps to make sure that we enter the New Year with a new attitude, new discipline, new obedience, and a new resolve to do that which God has destined for His people to accomplish. God’s promises are never ending and will be fulfilled. We must not look at what is happening in the world but focus on God’s Word and His promises. Listen, whatever we’re going through we must acknowledge, comprehend and understand that God is bigger than any challenge and/or situation that is presented before us. All we need is a little strength and God will supply the added and take us through. Believe and understand that God fully intends to bring His people to the maturity and prosperity He always promised. What we must do is embrace it and be persistent in pursuing and stimulating our mind with the things of God regardless of the opposition that we are faced with. I'm living proof that there is no problem that God has not already resolved and we must remember that as a child of God victory belongs to us and defeat
is not an option.

Take heed…
I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and
empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am
ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner
strength and confident peace.] And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every
need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:13, 19 - AMP)

As I was reading Our Daily Bread, 2 Chronicles 20, today's devotional, the Word was very clear and spoken volumes to the circumstances and situations that are presented before us. I share this message and as an encouragement, that no matter what we may be going through, God knows and He hears our prayers.

Do not be afraid or discouraged/dismayed for the Lord will be/is with you.

In painful and challenging times, we can often experience God's nearness in a powerful way. As He helps us submit to His will and live out a prayerful posture in our hearts, we can find comfort and peace in Him.

BE ENCOURAGED, THE BATTLE IS NOT YOURS BUT THE LORD'S.

Have an awesomely blessed, peaceful and prosperous day.

This blessed/encouraged me and I pray that it will do the same for you!

Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists. (Acts 12:7)

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose. (Acts 16:25-26)

This is the way God works. In our darkest hour, He walks to us across the waves, just as an angel came to Peter's cell when the day of Peter’s ex*****on dawned. And when the scaffold was completed for Mordecai's ex*****on, the king’s sleeplessness ultimately led to his action favoring God’s favored race. (See Est. 6.)

Dear soul, you may have to experience the very worst before you are delivered, but you will be delivered! God may keep you waiting, but He will always remember His promise and will appear in time to fulfill His sacred word that cannot be broken. F. B. Myers

God has a simplicity about Him in working out His plans, and yet He possesses a resourcefulness equal to any difficulty. His faithfulness to his trusting children is unwavering, and He is steadfast and holding to His purpose. In Joseph’s life, we see God work through a fellow prisoner, later through a dream, and finally through lifting Joseph from a prison to the position of governor. And the length of Joseph's prison stay gave him the strength and steadiness he needed as governor.

It is always safe to trust God's methods to live by His clock. Samuel Dickey Gordon

God and His providence has a thousand keys to open a thousand different doors in order to deliver His own, no matter how desperate the situation may have become. May we be faithful to do our part, which is simply to suffer for Him, and to place Christ's part on Him and then leave it there. George MacDonald

Difficulty is actually the atmosphere surrounding a miracle, or a miracle in this initial stage. Yet if it is to be a great miracle, the surrounding condition will be not simply a difficulty, but an utter impossibility. And it is the clinging hand of His child that makes a desperate situation a delight to God.

Joy II 10/10/25
Regardless to the challenges, circumstances and situations that we go through, we can be thankful and praise God that those challenges, circumstances and situations are not meant to destroy us or sink us into a bottomless pit of despair but to build our character and show us that we have the capability and strength to endure even the most traumatic and devastating situations that comes our way. Jesus died that we might have life and have it more abundantly; and it is because of His death that we have the Holy Spirit’s assistance to strengthen and fortify us.

Instead of seeing the glass of life as either half empty (despair, disappointments and devastation) or half full (character building, contentment and an opportunity for spiritual growth), we can see our glass run over with the goodness of God. Yes, we will be challenged but it is those challenges that will either push us to depend on God and His ability to keep us or believe the lies of the adversary that God is against us. With that being said, we can live by faith proclaiming the truth of God’s Word knowing that it is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. And it is because of that that we can daily confess that we will live and not die and declare the works of the Lord.

Take heed…
Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing. (James 1:2-4 — AMP)

Philippians 1:9-10
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
9 And this I pray: that your love may abound yet more and more and extend to its fullest development in knowledge and all keen insight [that your love may [a]display itself in greater depth of acquaintance and more comprehensive discernment],

10 So that you may surely learn to sense what is vital, and approve and prize what is excellent and of real value [recognizing the highest and the best, and distinguishing the moral differences], and that you may be untainted and pure and unerring and blameless [so that with hearts sincere and certain and unsullied, you may approach] the day of Christ [not stumbling nor causing others to stumble].

Have a joyous and blessed day in the Lord!

Joy — 9/23/25
Upon awakening each day, we are given the opportunity to see the glass of life half full or half empty; we can choose to appreciate the goodness that God provides for us or we can choose to be grouchy and discontented because of the situations we’re faced with. Regardless to whether we are faced with sickness in our bodies, financial indebtedness, trouble in our homes, problems on the job, transportation issues, but we must not let these situations dictate our disposition, character and/or willingness for to forge ahead in doing the will of God.

We were never guaranteed that there would be smooth sailings or a life with hardships, but we are given the opportunity to determine how we’re going to handle the situations that we will face. We can either be grateful that we are still alive or complain that we are still alive; the choice is ours. We can either choose life or death but we must be extremely careful in the decisions we make because they can and will at some point come to collect their due, and we all know from past experiences that the consequences—the collection agency of life—has the potential to sink us into a bottomless pit of despair. With that being said, it is imperative that we believe the Word of God and speak it over ourselves. And we are able to do this because it is God in the person of the Holy Spirit who daily fortifies/strengthens us. If we receive the Holy Spirit’s assistance, He will counsel us, encourage us and empower us to be keenly aware of the spirit of peace even when our flesh wants to sulk, whine and complain.

Take heed…
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises. (Romans 15:13 — AMP)

Anxious — 9/2/25
We spend way too much time thinking about what we should have or shouldn’t have done instead of going to God in the first place seeking His guidance about how He wants us to handle a matter. God’s Word cautions us to not be depressed, full of mental distress or uneasy about anything, anybody and/or situation. There will always be one thing or another that will want us to concentrate on the what ifs; its intent is to rob us of our peace and have us dwell on what we can make happen instead of relying on God and His abilities. Of course, God gives us the ability to think for ourselves and if we would take the time to weigh the consequences of any action against His Word, we would have less time for worrying and more time for praising.

We live in a world where tragedy, turmoil and trauma are a part of our everyday life. We rise in the morning and never know if we or our loved ones will have the opportunity to lie down at night. If we allow ourselves to become agitated and uneasy about what lies ahead, we will not be able to adequately function and fulfill our daily assignments and duties. It’s a given, we will be faced with unforeseeable circumstances and situations but when we put our trust in God and learn how to rest and relax in Him, applying His principles, we can remain cool, calm, collected, composed, and confident in the midst of any adversity. With that being said, let’s not become overly tensed, apprehensive, disturbed, concerned, worried, and fearful—taking matters into our own hands when faced with these unforeseeable circumstances and situations—but rely on God and His ability to keep us.

Take heed…
Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 — AMPC)
