The Carlisle Area Healthcare Auxiliary is selling Poinsettia Plants and Christmas Cactuses. Order forms can be picked up in the UPMC Carlisle Hospital Gift Shop located in South Middleton Township on Alexander Spring Road. Payment is required at the time of turning in an order form and order forms must be turned in no later than Thursday, November 12, 2026. Orders will arrive at the Gift Shop on Tuesday, December 8, 2026 after 11 am. Orders will need picked up that day if you are not a UPMC Carlisle Hospital employee.

We are still selling raffle tickets for the Host/Hostess Gift Basket. Tickets are 1 for $2.00, 3 for $5.00, and 10 for $10.00. Tickets can be purchased in the UPMC Carlisle Hospital Gift Shop. The value of the Gift Basket is somewhere between $725 and $750. Drawing will be on Saturday, December 5, 2026 right after Breakfast with Santa for the children of the UPMC Carlisle Hospital employees.

As always, proceeds from both of these benefit Medical Related Scholarships, Women's Center (NICU), the Walking Trail around the hospital, and so many more health related programs.

The Carlisle Area Healthcare Auxiliary located at the UPMC Carlisle Hospital in South Middleton Township is once again pleased to announce that the Auntie Anne's Pretzel Food Truck will be at the UPMC Carlisle Hospital on Thursday, October 15, 2026 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. They will be located halfway between the parking lot of the Women's Center (off of Sprint Drive) and the Ambulance Entrance to the Emergency Department (near the employee entrance to the hospital). Then on Thursday, October 29, 2026 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm (or until sold out), Nothing Bundt Cakes will be setting up in the UPMC Carlisle Hospital Cafeteria with a pop up event. If you have never had a Nothing Bundt Cake, this is your opportunity to try one. Starting on Friday, October 16, 2026, the Auxiliary will be selling raffle tickets for a new Host/Hostess Gift Basket. The value of the Host/Hostess Gift Basket is between $725 and $750. Tickets are 1 for $2.00, 3 for $5.00, and 10 for $10.00. The drawing for the Gift Basket will be on Saturday, December 5, 2026 (plenty of time to purchase raffle tickets) following Breakfast with Santa for the children of UPMC Carlisle Hospital employees. There are still a few days remaining for anyone who wants a Boscov Shopping Pass for 25% off of the lowest ticket prices for your entire order. Just donate $5.00 to the Auxiliary and receive a Shopping Pass to be used only on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 in store or online. As always, these are all fundraisers for the Auxiliary and the funds go towards supporting medical related scholarships, the Women's Center (NICU), the Walking Trail around the hospital, and other health related programs that the Auxiliary supports.

The Carlisle Area Healthcare Auxiliary, located in South Middleton Township, is doing another clothing/shoe drive the week of August 24, 2026 to August 28, 2026 at the UPMC Carlisle Hospital Entrance A lobby(Visitor's Entrance). Clothing and shoes only may be dropped off on these days and members of the Auxiliary will take them to Community Aid in Mechanicsburg.

The Auxiliary is also selling raffle tickets for a 50/50 drawing. The winner will receive 50% of the funds collected from the sale of the tickets and the Auxiliary will receive the other 50%. Ticket prices are $1.00 each and the winning ticket will be drawn following our Food Fest on September 16, 2026 (more on that next month). Cash only is accepted for the raffle tickets and can be purchased at the UPMC Carlisle Hospital Gift Shop.

For a $5.00 donation, a Boscov's Shopping Pass will be given out that can be used at any Boscov Store and online on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. The pass is good for 25% off of the lowest ticket prices on most items (some exceptions apply but a discount will still be given at a different percentage). This is a great time to start your Christmas/Holiday Shopping. Cash only is accepted for the $5.00 donation in order to receive a Shopping Pass and donations can be made at the UPMC Carlisle Hospital Gift Shop.

The Auxiliary is also taking orders for Fall Mums at $10.00 each. Order forms are available at the UPMC Carlisle Hospital Gift Shop and can be pre-ordered in cash or check (checks are to be made payable to the Carlisle Area Healthcare Auxiliary). Non hospital employees will need to pick at their Mums at the UPMC Carlisle Gift Shop.
