Exciting news! The YWCA Carlisle & Cumberland County is starting a gender affirming clothing closet for LGBTQ+ youth! We are seeking donations of gently used clothing, including formal wear and accessories, and are also collecting unused make-up. While donations will be accepted throughout the year, we are especially looking for items between now and June 11th to prepare us for Carlisle Pride week, happening June 11th-19th! All donations will help us in building a safe environment for LGBTQ+ youth to pick out affirming clothing for FREE! To donate please contact [email protected], or call 717-243-3818.

Leaked Supreme Court documents show the Supreme Court has likely voted to strike down Roe v. Wade according to an initial draft majority opinion, effectively eliminating legal protection for abortion rights.

Local and national pro-choice organizations have been preparing for this. Together, we can fight this fight. Abortion is still legal and we will continue to fight for access to safe abortion for ALL — this will not stop us.

What can you do to help?

- Visit YWCA USA's page and join us in telling Congress to pass the Women's Health Protection Act via the link in their bio
- Demand your local representatives fight to protect abortion access in your state

Thank you Sophie for being a great role model to your younger peers!
