In a world where there is already so much hurt, division, judgment, and a willingness to tear people down or discard them, particularly Black and Brown people, we believe it is just as important to be intentional about lifting people up!

That’s what Hope Station’s Annual Awards Dinner is about: Recognizing community leaders and reminding them that their leadership, service, and impact matter.

This morning, our Executive Director, Rogette Harris, joined Good Day PA on ABC27 Alongside Donny Martinez, recipient of the 2026 Jim Washington Leadership Award, to talk about our awards and the importance of recognizing those making a meaningful difference in our community.

There are enough voices in this world telling people what’s wrong with them. Hope Station wants to be a voice reminding people of what is right with them.

What an incredible day! Today, Hope Station partnered with Affordable PA to host our Back-to-School Bash, and together we helped prepare more than **200 students** of all ages and grade levels for a successful school year. From school supplies to smiles, the community showed up in a big way!

A special thank you to Affordable PA for their partnership and support in making this event possible. We were also thrilled to provide **bikes and helmets to many children**, helping promote both fun and healthy lifestyles.

We are grateful to our amazing volunteers who gave their time and energy to serve our families throughout the day. Thank you to **DJ Gains Bond** for keeping the music going and the atmosphere lively, and to **Mz. Ambitious Catering Company** for providing delicious food enjoyed by so many.

Days like today remind us of the power of community. Thank you to everyone who attended, our community vendors, anyone who volunteered, donated, and supported this event. Together, we are building a stronger future for our children and families.
