If you know a high school sophomore, junior, or senior looking for a great opportunity to add to college applications or resumes, EECA is accepting applications for Youth Tour 2026!
This is an incredible opportunity for students to learn about electric cooperatives, build leadership skills, and explore how government works, all while making new friends and creating unforgettable memories in Washington, D.C.
All applicants will be invited to our Co-op 101 Day at EECA’s office in Murphysboro on Wednesday, March 25! It’ll be a fun morning with interactive leadership training and learning how to advocate for your community, as well as a great opportunity to see how cooperatives power more than just homes.
From Co-op 1010 Day, two students will be selected for the all-expenses-paid Youth Tour 2026. One application covers both Co-op 101 Day and Youth Tour.
