The countdown to GiveSI is on! On October 8th and 9th, our community comes together for a powerful day of giving. We’re participating to raise $60,000 for warm, safe shelter during the freezing winter months. Every single donation counts. Please give what you can and support the Carbondale Warming Center!

Why are we participating in GiveSI?

Because we believe in the power of neighbor helping neighbor.

On October 8th and 9th, you can support the Carbondale Warming Center by making a gift, sharing our posts, or telling a friend about our mission. Let’s show everyone what Southern Illinis can accomplish together! Your gift will help to ensure no one in our community is left behind.

The Carbondale Warming Center is very grateful to Church Women United for donating proceeds from their wildly successful 2026 Hunger Sale. We are moved by the generosity of our community and all the hard work and effort that went into this long-standing fundraiser to benefit the needy of Southern Illinois. Thanks to you, our shelter guests can receive a safe bed, food, shower, laundry, clothing, support services, and a kind word of encouragement.
