With our mission to help small businesses, we wanted to let you know about the SIU Small Business Development Center and their upcoming free webinar at 10am Friday, April 30, on the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF), a grant-like program expected to launch in pilot shortly and administered through the U.S. Small Business Administration. COVID-19 Vaccination Appointments Available! The Jackson County Health Department is now scheduling 1st dose appointments for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the Carbondale Civic Center and the Banterra Center. The JCHD will be administering Pfizer at both locations.

You must be eligible in Phase 1a or Phase 1b. ***Beginning this week, the expanded Phase 1b, which includes those aged 16-64 with certain underlying medical conditions can schedule an appointment. People will self certify they are eligible and do not need to provide documentation at the vaccination clinic. ICYMI: A record number of new COVID-19 cases were reported in Jackson County yesterday. The Health Department announced an additional 87 cases, bringing the number of active cases in the county to 395.
