Congratulations to our own Jacari Henderson, Assistant Dean of Student Support, Well-being & Success for winning the 2026 Saluki Woman of the Year Award Emerging Leader.

Jacari is a Carbondale native and SIU alumna. Through her work on campus and extensive community service, she has built a record of mentorship, advocacy, and leadership focused on supporting students and strengthening her community.
