Canton Country Acres Civic Association Canton Country Acres is a neighborhood of 171 homes in Canton Township, Wayne County, Michigan. This page will replace the association's website.

Built in 1978-79, the neighborhood lies just south of Palmer, between Morton Taylor Road and Lilley Road. It is bordered by Morton Taylor on the west, East Roundtable to the east, Lancelot Drive to the south, and Palmer Road to the north. The association's mailing address is PO Box 87201, Canton, MI 48187

The community is managed by a homeowners association, Canton Country Acres Civic Associatio

n (CCACA), and maintenance is financed by homeowners' dues. Annual dues of $150 cover from April 1 to March 31. Dues cover plowing streets, occasional salting of intersections within sub, taxes and insurance on the park, mowing of the park, ads for annual garage sale, attorney's fees (only when liens are placed or removed from properties who have not paid annual dues). Whenever there are funds available, we make upgrades to the streets, playground equipment, landscaping, etc. Most of the budget goes to snow removal and park maintenance.

Hello and happy Spring, fellow CCA residents! 🌸🌹🌷…❄️?!?

This is a reminder of upcoming events and deadlines:

▫️ The 2027 HOA dues payment deadline is April 30th. Letters were sent by mail and information is also available at the site below. Serveral payment options are available (Zelle, credit card, and check)
▫️ The spring HOA meeting will take place this Thursday (3/26) from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at
Room B Canton Township Administration Building, 1150 Canton Ctr Rd, Canton Township, MI 48188, USA
▫️The March 2026 newsletter was distributed, with availability on the website under “Docments”

If you want to stay connected to events, check in on the new website regularly. The clean design and re-organization will allow us to more effectively share information.

The dues for the 2026/2027 fiscal year are $154.50. This year’s dues reflect the standard 3% annual increase permitted by the Association’s by‑laws, which helps the community keep pace with rising costs and maintain a healthy financial buffer for future projects. You can find additional detail...

Our new bench is ready for sitting 😃 thank you to our neighbor Sukumar who donated this bench in memory of his late wife Varsha Joshipura. The kids at the playground were thrilled about the new addition and enjoyed it promptly 💜

Park Update: we have a beautiful new memorial bench in progress at the park in memory of Varsha Joshipura. With these cold nights the concrete will take some additional time to cure, please refrain from sitting on the bench until the caution tape is removed 😃 if you have interest in donating a memorial piece to the community you can reach out to [email protected]

Winter is coming 🥶

As a reminder, when expecting a snow and/or plowing please clear your vehicles from the street to allow the plow to effectively clear the snow (in accordance with Canton Township ordinance).

As we continue to enjoy the outdoors through the cold weather be mindful of your footwear since icy patches are known to form on various areas of road/sidewalk throughout the community.

Regarding yard waste: the last pick up date for the season is December 19, 2025.

Keep and eye out for a winter park event! We’re planning on a snowman building day when we get a big snow. ☃️

Bring your picnic blanket, a camp chair, or whatever makes you comfy to join your neighbors for a fun evening in the park 😃

Update #3: go play!!! 🎉 Enjoy the new playground equipment. We look forward to seeing everyone at movie night this Saturday.

Update #2: looks like they need just 1/2 a truck more and then the park will be fully mulched! As of 4 PM.

Update: They are nearly halfway done and off to refill the giant truck with more mulch as of 1:20 PM. It’s looking good!

Mulching of the playground is in progress! 🎉

I’ll update this status when it is complete. Looking forward to seeing you all at the park 😁

The new park equipment is installed. For your safety, please stay off while the concrete is curing. The new playground mulch is scheduled to arrive this week. Once the mulch is laid down, the park will officially be ready for play! Thank you for your patience and consideration.
