while not a lot, it’s a start and access to another funding source we could desperately use. in addition to our medical debt that we are hustling to pay off, we need funding to pay for overhead costs like our small business insurance (which we are required to have to set up at places like petco or petsmart) or routine medical care expenses like dewormer & flea treatment. this is a really easy way to show support for us even if you’re able to send or donation (and an easy alternative if you’re not). our goal is to hit 10k followers across all our platforms (insta, TT, & YT)! please help us reach that goal by following Head Start Animal Rescue 💗

HAPPY CATURDAY!

we are officially out of litter for our foster room! we are caring for a total of 17 cats currently in our foster room, & we take their care very seriously! boxes are clean regularly throughout the day and sometimes even dumped 2x a day to keep the area clean & mess free. pellet litter (combination of pine & newspaper) make this chore SO MUCH EASIER! if you can donate ANY AT ALL it would be so so so appreciated!

we are low on adult cat wet food, if anyone is able to donate any at all to use it would also be GREATLY appreciated!

a lot is always going on in my life rn so i wanted to post 10 wins im grateful for;

1. im halfway towards my birthday fundraiser goal and im so touched how so many friends showed up for me! even my high school principal donated 🫶 thank you so much

2. i had more people help with this week with my foster room than ever before 💗 the feed and cleans went so quick!

3. we’ve had two adoptions already for the month of October 🎃

4. because of a last minute TNR appt i was given i was able to coordinate a possible pregnant feral going to the clinic (on my birthday 🎉 )

5. i have a 93 in my current post-grad course (masters + 30 bby 💅)

6. first person in my family to go to grad school & then grad school again 🤷🏻‍♀️

7. house is decorated for spooky szn 👻

8. i got some super helpful & amazing donations for my birthday for the foster room (ilysm to the person who sent the rescue wipes 🫶)

9. my husband sorted & organized my foster room closet (the organization is organizing & I no long dread walking into that closet 🤏)

10. that i am privileged enough to help animals. i have a car, resources, & amazing supporters who make this possible. thank you for allowing me the opportunities to help in at least some capacity. you guys are the best 🐾
