We'll have to postpone our Oct. 3 Midnight Notes session because our whole team will be preoccupied with the Collingswood Book Festival this year!

Stop by our table near the poetry tent on Washington Ave. to write a quick haiku, say hello and grab an NVHA tshirt and a book. The festival is from 10 AM - 4 PM, and NVHA will do the haiku wake up call at 11 AM and a free workshop later at 2:30 PM. The open mic starts at 3:25 PM, led by our Midnight Notes host R**t Starwind.

Poets, another free workshop is coming your way. Our next online workshop explores writing about moments of injustice, inspired by the work of the masters. Our teaching poet and workshop leader John Wojtowicz will teach us about capturing these moments without appropriating stories or perspectives that are not our own!

We hope you'll clear some time in your schedule and sit in with us for this one, which will be on November 21 starting at 11 AM EST.
