CitySprouts Staff Spotlight 🪴✨

We are thrilled to welcome Stella Rothfeld to CitySprouts as our 26’-27’ TerraCorps Sustainable Agriculture Coordinator. Stella has previously worked in sustainable and regenerative farming operations at Hickory Nut Gap Farm and at The Food Project, and worked with youth in various capacities to grow leadership and expand access to environmental education.

“Gardening teaches kids that some things take time and care to develop, and that planning, having patience, and being intentional about what actions you take are all integral parts of gardening. These processes are so different from digital experiences that we have day to day, so I think gardening sharpens the ability to not need instant gratification or results. ” 💚

We are thrilled to welcome Anna Wellborn to CitySprouts as our 26’-27’ TerraCorps Youth Education Coordinator. A lover of all things bugs and dirt, Anna has been looking for ways to bridge her passion for the environment and creative expression in a career. Her service term here at CitySprouts is an exciting and fruitful step in that process!

CitySprouts is hiring a Full-Time Youth Programs Manager! 🌱

This position will manage CitySprouts’ Green Team, which delivers out-of-school-time programming for middle schoolers in Boston and Cambridge. The role also includes designing and implementing short-term programs for community members, including middle schoolers, and growing CitySprouts’ reach across youth development spaces in both cities. All CitySprouts programs are designed to foster curiosity, belonging, and equitable access to meaningful learning experiences in school gardens and city green spaces.
