Fly high, Dolly 🕊

Dolly Parton, who rose from a loving if impoverished upbringing in the mountains of East Tennessee to become the “Queen of Country” music, a Hollywood star, and a beloved American icon, has died, her family announced.

Parton was 80.

Her death came after Parton suddenly announced in May 2026 that she was canceling a Las Vegas show and said she'd been undergoing treatment for kidney stones for several years.

🇵🇷🎶 CONCIERTO GRATUITO. La sensación puertorriqueña Chuwi ofrecerá un concierto gratuito el próximo miércoles 19 de agosto de 2026 a las 6:00 PM en Henri A. Termeer Square, en el 675 W Kendall St, Cambridge.

El evento es al aire libre, de acceso libre para todo público y sin necesidad de registro previo.
