MaeDay Rescue

MaeDay Rescue MaeDay Rescue is a 501c3 animal rescue organization based in Los Angeles. Her passion is animals; with each one she saves, it's as if she is saving Maggie Mae.

We are solely based in Los Angeles and are not affiliated with any other organizations. MaeDay is named after Natalie's dog, Maggie Mae, whose life was taken after a roll over accident on the freeway in 2010. Since the accident, Natalie has volunteered at local California animal shelters and with Mexican animal shelters, fostering and finding homes for hundreds of dogs and cats. She has volunteered at Spay/Neuter clinics and is currently planning a Mae-Day spay/neuter clinic for the fall of 2014. This page is meant to spread awareness and share the work that Mae-Day is doing, along with promoting Mae-Day events and Mae-Day animals. All donations are appreciated and will help all fur babies!! The perfect Saturday with Laney is a stroll in the neighborhood, playtime with toys, showing off her “sit” and napping. This 5 month old puppy did amazing at the adoption event on Thursday. She was so friendly with everyone she met and loved all of the dogs. She has a gentle play style, but can sometimes still do some puppy play biting with people.

She is potty pad trained and will probably be around 40 pounds once full grown. She’s also incredibly smart and want someone works with her. She is going to learn all of the tricks.

It feels like summer in the city and Prosciutto has been doing summer things. He is now a pro at happy hour porch sitting, hanging with dog friends in AC, hitting up dog parks & waiting for his iced coffee.

Okay model 💜 This Tulip has stems for days and a personality for days. This sweet 3ish year old girl is eager to start her life in her forever home.. we just have to find it.

Tulip looks like an Italian greyhound here and maybe she is mixed with one! Who knows. What we do know is she is smart, loyal, sweet and nice to everyone. She can just be determined on leash and needs a handler who isn’t persuaded by that. Apply to meet Tulip!

Ham had some interest when we first posted him and said that he was available. All of those applications never got back to us once we sent the next steps and now he needs a temp foster weds-Sunday. His foster was always going out of town October 7th, but we assumed this good boy would have been adopted.

If you can foster Ham 10/7-10/11 reach out ASAP! If you’ve fostered for us before please text us or email. If you are new to fostering with Maeday Rescue, please fill out a foster application and send us a follow up email.

He will need to attend the Thursday happy hour adoption event from 5:30-7:30 as well!

If you can’t foster but want to help Ham along his journey consider donating to our current fundraiser. We have rescued about five dogs in the last 10 days and supplies and food add up!

Chickadee!!! This girl is settling in perfectly. She’s loving, potty trained and getting comfortable on leash. She is great with her Fosters pup and at around 8 years old is the best girl.

Smooch has been adopted and is now named Helen!!! Thanks to her new family who has TWO other cats (both not pictured) she was with us since July 4th weekend and we are thrilled she has a forever home!

Thanks to her foster Anna Goodman who kept her till her perfect home was found.

Helen is going to have the best life and we can’t wait for updates!
