The Skagit Bicycle Club took this past Tuesday's club ride on the road. Had a wonderful day riding around Lopez Island. Perfect weather, an enjoyable ferry ride and the views were typical Pacific Northwest. We shared the road and had a chance to visit with a group from the Salem Bicycle Club who were on a multi-island tour. Always great to catch up with other cycling groups.

Last night was our first ride in our summer concert series. We enjoyed a wonderful mid afternoon ride before settling in to an enjoyable evening of music, conversation and great eats! We will be doing 5 more of these rides: 1 more in Anacortes and two each in Sedro Woolley and Mount Vernon. Check the club’s Event Calendar for further details. Not a member? Consider joining. We offer events like this one as well as weekly rides through out the Skagit Valley.

It’s a wrap - another successful Spring Classic is in the books. Sharing a few photos from the day. Thanks to all the participants who enjoyed our homemade cookies and the wonderful Skagit Valley countryside. Special thanks to the Rough Riders 4-H club for a most excellent spaghetti dinner.
