❓What will it be used for?
We focus on Middle- and high-school-aged students in Burlington-Edison.

- Student Community Closet(s) - personal hygiene, feminine hygiene, shoes, sports equipment to play, clothes, and more.

- Pro Social Activities (safe & sober events for teens): Creating and providing inclusive spaces for them to hang out in a safe environment with their peers and have FUN!

¡Nos sentimos emocionados y honrados de compartir que la Coalición de la Comunidad Saludable de Burlington (BHCC) ha sido nombrada finalista para el Premio de Impacto Comunitario del Peoples Bank!💚

Todo lo que hacemos, desde el empoderamiento de los jóvenes locales y el apoyo a las iniciativas de bienestar escolar hasta la construcción de vecindarios conectados y resilientes en Burlington, es posible gracias a nuestra increíble comunidad. Este reconocimiento pertenece a cada voluntario, socio y vecino que defiende un mañana más saludable para nuestros hijos y familias.

Ganar esta subvención ampliaría directamente nuestros programas de prevención del uso de sustancias y las iniciativas juveniles aquí mismo en Burlington. 💙💛

Lo que BHCC proporciona:

✅ Armario gratuito de la comunidad estudiantil con ropa, zapatos, artículos de higiene personal y apoyo para actividades saludables

We are thrilled and honored to share that the Burlington Healthy Community Coalition (BHCC) has been named a finalist for the Peoples Bank Community Impact Award! 💚

Everything we do—from empowering local youth and supporting school wellness initiatives to building connected, resilient neighborhoods across Burlington—is made possible by our incredible community. This recognition belongs to every volunteer, partner, and neighbor who champions a healthier tomorrow for our kids and families.

Winning this grant would directly expand our substance use prevention programs and youth initiatives right here in Burlington.

They have ZERO personal hygiene items from last year! 😭

They NEED:

👃🏼 Deodorant
🪒 Razors with handle (not refill razors please)
🦷 Toothbrushes & Toothpaste & Floss

BHCC was thrilled to welcome incoming students and families at B-EHS Freshman Orientation and Lucille Umbarger Middle School Family Night. Meeting new faces, connecting with familiar ones, and sharing local resources is what it’s all about.
