🏀 OUR WHY 🧡💙
Hoop for the Valley is about so much more than basketball.
We were created to honor the life and legacy of Ethan Chapin #35—and to carry forward the kindness, joy, friendship, and sense of community he brought to the people around him.
Ethan believed in encouraging his teammates, welcoming everyone, and making people feel valued. His legacy reminds us that basketball can be a place where kids find confidence, connection, opportunity, and belonging.
That is our why.
Through youth scholarships, free and low-cost open gyms, skills clinics, camps, tournaments, and community events, we are working to remove barriers and give more kids a chance to get on the court.
🧡 Want to help us keep playing it forward?
Every donation helps create opportunities for kids in our community. Scan the QR code on our Our Why card to donate and help us continue Ethan’s legacy.
🔥 Live Life Like Ethan.
🏀 One bucket at a time.
