Bluey is a 1 year old handsome boy, likely a heeler/shepherd mix. His previous humans didn’t have time for him so he will need some training but don’t we all. 🤪. He has lived with kids who he played with and found the cat to be scary. He has not lived with dogs but is really enjoying playgroups and would likely enjoy a playmate. He’s a very loving and sweet boy who just needs someone to commit to him. He would love an active family/person to take him on walks and hikes. Let’s get him a home! ❤️

Help us care for our tiniest (and biggest) furry friends this week! 🐱🐶

We’re hoping for:
• Wet Kitten Food (chicken-based, NO fish): Weruva Chicken Kitten and Tiki Cat Baby Mousse Chicken & Chicken Liver
• Wet Dog Food: Canidae Lamb & Rice, Sierra Mountain Lamb & Rice, Zignature Lamb Formula
• Dry Kitten Food (we’re completely out!): Purina One, Tiki Cat Babycat, Hill’s Science Diet, or Royal Canin (chicken preferred)
• Sterilite 3-Tier Organizers — need 4 of the 13.5”D x 11”W x 9”H size

Every donation makes a huge difference in keeping our animals happy and healthy!

📣Dog of the Day📣

Thor! This 4 year old handsome, spotted guy has confidence, smarts and fun all in just the right amount. He loves a good ball chase, a roll around in the grass, a nice sniffy walk, some time with other dog friends, he’s just a social guy.

He has lived with other dogs big and small. He has not lived with kids but has liked every person he has met and been gentle in his interactions with humans. He has not lived with cats.

This guy is a volunteer favorite and has done so well at adoption events taking everything in calmly and confidently and genuinely enjoying it. He is a total catch!

We’re almost completely out of wet dog food and need your help!
We rely on wet food donations to make sure our dogs get extra hydration and the comfort of a high value meal. It especially helps those stressed by the shelter environment who don’t feel like eating or our furry friends with tooth problems! Any and all wet dog food is deeply appreciated right now. We have included the link to one of our dog’s favorites!

Ichiro is a 3 year old bundle of joy and love. She needs regular exercise but it does not have to be long and she loves carrying around a giant ball with a cute little strut. She is great on leash and does well walking alongside other dogs. She prefers calmer dogs who listen to her boundaries and does have some Bull Terrier prey drive so kitties may not be a good fit. This little girl is a really fun dog with so much love and laughter to give! Come meet her! ❤️

🐾💙STILL WAITING & WE CAN'T BELIEVE IT! Meet Chandler! 💙🐾
We first introduced you to this handsome boy June 3rd— and somehow, somehow, he's still here. Chandler, you deserve the world, and we're not giving up on you! 🌟

Chandler is 7 years young and came to us after losing his beloved owner. He's been on quite a journey since arriving, and we are SO proud of him. This boy has gone from 30 pounds down to 23 pounds — that's 7 pounds of hard work and dedication! 💪😸
He's now on a carefully-measured wet and dry food diet, and the best part? His remaining food comes home with him. 🍽

And did we mention? His adoption fee is fully sponsored. Taking this sweet boy home costs you nothing. 🎉
