We focus on Pregnant or nursing moms and puppies however we do take in young adults from time to time. Unless otherwise stated our adoption fee is $575 which helps us cover the spay/neuter, vaccines and microchips

Come along and make some boardom busters and food bowls for our picky eaters.

Boardman busters are so important for our pups as it gives them something to focus on during the day when they can't be out of their kennels. It helps lower anxiaty, boosts their mood and works their brain.

We make these boardom busters with a mix of canned food and treats. The treats hidden in the canned food makes it even more fun for them to find. When it gets hot out, we chill the canned food or make pre-made boardom busters and freeze them. This does 2 things, it helps cool them down and it takes longer for them to get the food out so it keeps them busy longer.

We have plans to set up a large outdoor dog run in the coming weeks to help train and burn some energy during the nice weather when its too hot for open shop time and not enough time to take each pup on an adventure. This will help tremendously since we are ran by a small group of volenteers who's lives are generally busier in the summer.

Sometimes volenteering looks like showing a pup that the leash is safe.
Meet, Damien, a BRAVE boy and working so hard to learn how to be confident on leash in unfamiliar places❤️
Damien is a 2 year old Chihuahua Mix who arrived here a week ago. He is a little nervouse at first but warms up quickly, especilly with treats involved! Hes sweet, wiggly and loooves to be in your lap.

He and his sister, Andy, were found dumped in an orchard in CA. We will never know the reason they were abandoned, but we do know that their future is bright!

You will be able to meet both of them this week at this week! Be sure to stop in and shower them with kindness and gental hands 🫶

Donations are always welcome and appriciated. You're donations help care for the daily needs of each rescue pup that comes through our doors and all the sanctuary pups who are living their best lives with us here at BWC. Extra funds go towards enrichment activities around the rescue or adventures. Together, we can save them all!

Monday got you struggling? Well look no further for a pick me up! Mama Monday is here!

Mama Shadow and her babies are doing great! Mama soaking in the snuggles, but also has the look of "these dang kids" lol. She's a strong Mama, careing for her 9 babies like a champ and treating them each with gental kindness. She repositions herself so all the puppies can nurse easily. Her leg is healing well and her infection is clearing up. We do still have an outstanding bill at the emergency vet for her if you'd like to donate to help us get that squared away! Donation information at the bottom.

All 9 puppies are thriving, happy, and healthy, even our little "runt girl". Everyones eyes are open and clear, they are moving and grooving and starting to do "puppy things". We are still looking for a theme to name them, so if you'd like to spam us with idea's, we would love to take it into consideration! There are 5 boys and 4 girls!

Foster pupdate!!!
The Cows are thriving!!!! We have had these pups since 1 day old after being left on the side of the road in a bag!!! They are 6 weeks old, working on weaning, learning appropriate play, and healthy!!!! We did a DNA test on little Igg and the results are in!! Watch til the end
