The storms in Boone County last night got pretty crazy... How did you/your property make out?

UPDATE: 911 Service is restored.

Boone County 911 and non-emergency line (859-371-1234) are back in service as of 10 am on Thursday, June 18. A special thanks to Kenton County - Government who helped manage calls and our own dispatchers who were able to quickly adapt and ensure residents were connected with emergency services.

911, Non-Emergency Line Temporarily Down

911 calls are currently being routed to Kenton County 911 Dispatch. Callers are still being connected with emergency services. The County’s non-emergency line is completely down.

Boone County officials ask residents to only call 911 with urgent life safety matters as they work to restore service. The public will be notified as soon as 911 Dispatch is operational.

He is safe! 🇺🇸

Last night, Boone County Sheriff's Office, KY issued a Green Alert for Daniel Brock — a 57-year-old Marine Corps veteran from our community who went missing and was believed to be in danger. This morning, thanks to the work of the Veterans Response Team, Daniel was safely located and brought home.

The VRT was built for exactly this moment — veterans showing up for veterans. Made up of BCSO deputies who’ve served in the military themselves, the team knows how to build trust, de-escalate, and connect people to the care they need.

We’re so grateful Daniel is safe. And we’re proud to have and support the team in Boone County that answers the call — for those who answered it first.

Congratulations gentlemen! 💛🤎

On May 29th, Patriot Awards were presented to members of the Boone County, Ky. Sheriff's Department. The nominations were made by Deputy Cody Miller, who also serves as a Sergeant First Class with the 940th Military Police Company, Kentucky Army National Guard. Also in attendance was the Sheriff of Boone County, Les Hill, who signed an ESGR Statement of Support.
