Join us Friday, August 7 for Cops & Cones: Ice Cream for a Cause, hosted by the Boone County Sheriff’s Auxiliary and Dreamys Ice Cream benefiting The Boone County Schools’ Family & Student Resource Centers.

📍 Location: Dreamy’s Ice Cream - Burlington & Union (two locations, one sweet cause!)

Bring any new, unopened donation - school supplies, personal care, clothing & shoes, classroom supplies, or household essentials - and get $1 off any single menu item at Dreamy’s! Some of our beloved Boone County Sheriff's Office, KY SROs will be stopping by both locations between 12–7 PM, so come say hi and grab a cup, cone, shake or a sundae for a great cause.

Some tragedies leave no words.

This is one of them.

Our hearts are broken alongside the families, police officers, deputies, dispatchers, first responders, and every member of our law enforcement family affected by this unimaginable loss.

As our community mourns, we ask for one thing: compassion.

Please allow those impacted the dignity, privacy, and grace they deserve. Resist the urge to speculate, spread rumors, or turn someone else’s worst day into public entertainment.

Choose kindness. Choose respect. Keep everyone affected in your thoughts as they begin the long road toward healing.

Summer is officially here — and so are we. This month, the Boone County Sheriff's Auxiliary is busy behind the scenes preparing for two incredible community events coming up this summer and fall.
