Holiday for Heroes Awards scholarships to children of military and first responder's who have had their lives affected by their parents service to our country and communities

The Holiday for Heroes Foundation (a registered 501c3) began 16 years ago as a neighborhood collecting care packages to send to our troops. We currently provide scholarships to high school seniors who have had their lives affected by their parents’ Military and First Responder service. The proceeds of our first class events go to fund these scholarships for these deserving students, who have sacrificed in their formative years by sharing their parents with our County and our Communities. We also provide grants for Military and First Responder families who have experienced unexpected hardships including medical expenses. Since its founding in 2005 we have provided over $100,000 in scholarships, grants and supplies. In 2016 the foundation awarded $17,500 in scholarships to children of these heroes and provided $2,500 in hardship grants to the Military, Police and Fire Communities.

Today is the day! 🇺🇸❤️

We need your help now more than ever.

This year, we came up short on sponsors and donations, which means today’s event is more important than ever. Every admission ticket, raffle ticket, and purchase helps us continue providing scholarships to students from military and first responder families, while supporting the heroes who have given so much to our communities.

The good news? The weather forecast has improved! It’s now looking like just scattered showers, so don’t let the forecast keep you away. We’ll be there, and we’re looking forward to seeing you!

If you’ve been thinking about coming, today is the day. Bring your family, invite your friends, and help us make this event a success. Your support truly makes a difference.

📍 Come out, have a great time, win some amazing raffle prizes, and most importantly, help us continue our mission.

Thank you for standing behind Holiday for Heroes Foundation and the military members, first responders, and families we serve. ❤️🇺🇸

Improving…well, we have no doubt there will be some rain tomorrow - we have done this for 20 years and it has probably rained at some point in the day more times than not in all honesty…we are continuing to monitor the weather and will do so for the next 24 hours as well, it looks like we should have some comfortable temps and the majority of the event should be dry! We are so hopeful that you will come join us even if its after 5pm - but don’t wait too long or you’ll probably have to park a little bit further 😉
Stay tuned 🙏🏼🙏🏼😃
