Approximately 200 Seventh-day Adventist administrators gathered in Chicago Sept. 30–Oct. 1 to examine how tithe sharing, Church structure, and shared resources can better support local ministry. Worship, prayer, and discussions emphasized keeping mission at the center of financial and organizational decisions.

Leaders explored additional financial support for conferences, clearer responsibilities, and less duplication across Church organizations. Proposed next steps include studying organizational efficiency and restructuring and beginning the process for changing tithe reversion policies. No policy changes or final financial recommendations were approved at the gathering. Proposals will move through the Church’s established governance processes, with longer-term studies extending into 2028.

NAD President G. Alexander Bryant emphasizes that lasting progress will also require church growth, discipleship and lay involvement: “If there’s going to be significant change, it’s going to require everybody in.”

A community health fair hosted by the Amarillo Spanish Seventh-day Adventist Church connected neighbors with health services, school supplies, and opportunities for ongoing ministry. Volunteers offered blood pressure, blood glucose, and vision screenings, while other booths provided healthy juices, Christian literature, and information about church programs.

At the fair, 45 families registered for Bible studies. Parents also expressed interest in the Adventurer club, attendees asked about Women’s Ministries activities, and some families joined the church’s monthly food assistance program.

To nurture these connections, the church’s Sabbath School classes are reaching out to participating families. Each teacher is working alongside a designated elder to help members build relationships and continue supporting their neighbors beyond the event.

The largest Adventist sanctuary in Oklahoma welcomed pastors from across the state Oct. 13 for their annual workers’ meeting. Held for the first time at the Midwest City Spanish Seventh-day Adventist Church, the gathering offered a full day of training, collaboration, and strategic planning.

Ministerial Director Richard Piñero and Evangelism Coordinator Edward Bryan introduced OneVoice27, a worldwide initiative focused on evangelism, church health, and community impact. Pastors explored ways to revitalize congregations, engage members, and strengthen church websites and social media channels.

Sessions also highlighted opportunities in community outreach, Native ministries, and prison and urban ministry. Additional presentations addressed risk management, health care trends, and church insurance, equipping pastors with practical resources for local ministry.
