For teacher appreciation we had the teachers competition and here are our winners. Each cup was stuffed with goodies and on contained a gift card graciously donated by Murry Bakery. Our favorite hometown bakers! Thanks for everyone who participated, gave filler items and donated the Starbucks cups!!’

☀️ FREE Summer Meals are back! 🍎🥪

Beginning May 26 through June 26, children 18 years and younger can enjoy FREE breakfast and lunch at Taylor Elementary Cafeteria, Monday through Friday!

No registration required! Just stop by and enjoy nutritious meals all summer long!

Help us spread the word to families in our community so every child has access to healthy meals while school is out. ❤️

Our teachers were treated to a delicious variety of teas today from Circle Tea Brewing Company

Circle tea is a small family owned business that has been operating for 3 years. They are at Burleson Farmers Market and Crowley Market on Main. They also have the cutest tea trailer available for birthdays, weddings, school events and company catering.
So many fun tea flavors both sweet and unsweet!

We want to send out a huge thank you to Murry Bakery for adding a touch of sweetness to our Teacher Appreciation surprise cup awards. One lucky teacher will receive a gift card from this mouth watering bakery.

Murry Bakery is a local dessert spot who has won Best of for 6 consecutive years. They are known for delicious and handmade cookies, including snickerdoodle, Dr.Pepper, and gingerbread molasses flavors( some of my favorites). The bakery also offers truffles, banana pudding, and Sopapilla cheesecake. The bakery features regularly changing specials, including the popular key lime pie bars, pop tart and cinnamon roll an so much more. Seriously go try them. Sweetest staff ever which is small and consist of the owners and one or two more staff who know me by sight and I always leave with more than I planned when I walked in.

Snack Cart Donations Needed! 🍎

Help us show our amazing teachers just how much they mean to us! We are putting together a Teacher Appreciation Snack Cart and would love your support.
✨ What We’re Collecting:
• Individually wrapped snacks (chips, granola bars, crackers)
• Sweet treats (cookies, candy, chocolate)
• Healthy options (nuts, fruit cups, protein bars)

📅 Donation Deadline: May 7, 2026
📍 Drop-Off Location: Front Office or text 817-992-5433 to make arrangements ( this must be done in advance)

Every item—big or small—helps bring a smile to a teacher’s day! 💛
