💜 Walking together for a cause that matters! 💜

Yesterday, Pender High School’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC) joined the community in Wilmington, NC, for the Out of the Darkness Walk.

Our students came together to support su***de prevention, promote mental health awareness, and show that no one is alone. We are incredibly proud of our YAC members for using their voices, showing compassion, and taking part in an event that makes a difference in our community.

Small actions can create a big impact, and we are grateful to see our students leading the way! 💜

✨ Training Number 2! ✨

It felt so good to kick off another school year with our PCS school nurses! 💙🩺 Our nurses were excited about the training, reconnecting with everyone, and showing off their new PATH door signs!

We’re so excited for another year of bringing telehealth services to our schools and supporting our students and school communities. 💙

We’re so happy to continue our partnership with Brunswick County Schools and support their amazing school nurses as they provide telehealth services right from their schools. We’re grateful and excited for another year of helping students access the care they need, right where they are! 💙✨

The Tall Ship Elissa Arrives In Brooklyn For America's 250th Birthday, The 1877 Tall Ship Elissa has arrived in Brooklyn, docking at Brooklyn Bridge Marina ahead of America's Independence Day celebrations. The historic iron-hulled barque is one of the oldest sailing vessels still active anywhere in the world.

Built in Aberdeen, Scotland, and later rescued from a scrapyard in Greece, Elissa now serves as the Official Tall Ship of Texas, based out of Galveston. She departed her home port on June 8 for her first major voyage in nearly forty years.

On July 4, Elissa will lead the Class A Tall Ships in the Sail4th 250 Parade of Sail, joining the largest flotilla of tall ships ever assembled for a single event. More than twenty nations are sending vessels to mark America's 250th anniversary.

This is not Elissa's first visit to New York Harbor. She sailed these same waters in 1887, and again in 1986 for the Statue of Liberty's centennial celebration.

Free public deck tours aboard Elissa run July 5 through July 7 at Brooklyn Bridge Marina, giving visitors a rare chance to walk the decks of a true piece of maritime history.

Legendary Entertainment has acquired the rights from Universal, while Rob Letterman ("Shark Tales," "Detective Pikachu") has signed on to write and direct the film.

🫐🏃‍♂️ What an amazing day at the Blueberry Festival 5K!

PATH volunteers were proud to support the event and help make it a success. With over 1,000 runners, this was the largest turnout in the race’s history!
