🌼🐝 Tiny explorers, big backyard adventures!

Winding Branch Ranch is hosting its Pollinator Picnic tomorrow from 10:00–11:30 AM! Little ones ages 0–6 can enjoy hands-on fun learning about bees, butterflies, flowers, and other pollinators through movement, crafts, and nature play. 🦋✨

Families are invited to pack a picnic and stay awhile after the lesson to explore the ranch, visit the animals, and enjoy a peaceful morning outdoors. The experience is sensory-friendly, relaxed, and designed to let kids learn through curiosity and play.

$5 supply fee per child
Children over 6 must also have a ticket and stay with their guardian.

Today, we remember those who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their courage and sacrifice are the reason so many of us are able to live freely, gather with loved ones, and enjoy moments of peace like the ones we often share here at the sanctuary.

This Memorial Day, we honor the fallen and hold their families, friends, and fellow service members close in our hearts. 🇺🇸

Winding Branch Ranch is hiring weekend help!

We are looking for someone dependable, friendly, hardworking, and comfortable working both with people and around animals. This position will assist with our Farm Stand, guest experience, light maintenance projects, setup and cleanup, and general support around the sanctuary.

Schedule:
Saturdays & Sundays
9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

This position starts immediately and has the potential for ongoing opportunities throughout the summer and beyond. Applicants must be 18+.

Helpful skills:
• Customer service experience
• Handy with tools or basic maintenance
• Comfortable working outdoors in the Texas heat
• Self-motivated and reliable

Pay:
$10/hour

🎃 Pumpkin Patch Committee – Now Forming

We’re officially kicking off planning for this year’s Pumpkin Patch at Winding Branch Ranch and we’re looking for a small group of committed individuals to help bring it to life.

This is one of our largest events of the year, welcoming tens of thousands of visitors to the sanctuary, and it directly supports our work as a livestock animal rescue and agricultural education center.

What to expect:
• Bi-weekly in-person meetings at the sanctuary starting in July
• Hands-on planning and ex*****on
• Real responsibility and ownership of key areas

We’re looking for people who are:
• Reliable and able to commit through the season
• Organized and proactive
• Creative but also ex*****on-focused
• Passionate about education, agriculture, and animal welfare
