VFW Post 12205 proudly joins our community in honoring the brave men and women who served during World War II.
On Sunday, September 20, the Texas Military Forces Museum in Austin will commemorate 81 years since V-J Day and the end of World War II. Veterans, families, and community members are invited to attend, meet World War II veterans, and hear their remarkable stories firsthand.
We encourage everyone to help honor this extraordinary generation and preserve their legacy for generations to come. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 Operation Iraqi Freedom: Remembering the End of Combat Operations 🇺🇸
Today, August 31, marks the anniversary of the formal conclusion of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2010.
At VFW Post 12205, we pause to honor the incredible courage, resilience, and sacrifice of the 1.5 million brave men and women who deployed during this conflict. We remember the nearly 4,500 heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice, the thousands who returned home carrying both visible and invisible wounds, and the families who stood unwaveringly by their sides.
To all our local Bulverde and Spring Branch area Iraq War veterans: Your service, your sacrifice, and your dedication to the cause of freedom will never be forgotten. This day belongs to you, your families, and your enduring bond of service.
If you served, please know that you always have a home, a purpose, and a community right here at Post 12205.

🇺🇸🏆 PROUD MOMENT FOR VFW POST 12205! 🏆🇺🇸
Congratulations to Greg Brannon and Ron “Mac” McKinnon for being recognized for their outstanding recruiting efforts!
Mac was named VFW Recruiter of the Year for Texas and finished #2 nationally, with an incredible 601 new members recruited! 🇺🇸👏
Because of the hard work of Greg and Mac, VFW Post 12205 also received an “Excellence in Recruiting” Award! 🏆
Thank you both for helping grow our Post and District and, most importantly, giving veterans a stronger voice through the VFW.
Awards were presented by Ken Crawford, Commander of VFW Texas District 5.
