At our last meeting, we had the opportunity to give a heartfelt farewell to Sue Ho**er, one of our loyal, hardworking, and devoted Auxiliary members. ❤️
Sue has served in several roles, generously giving her time and heart to our Auxiliary and its mission. As she moves several hours away, we’ll miss her friendship, dedication, and willingness to lend a hand.
Sue, thank you for all you’ve done! We wish you a smooth move and much happiness in your new town. You’ll always be part of our Auxiliary family! 🇺🇸

Yesterday, we were honored to welcome a special guest to our VFW Post 12205 Auxiliary meeting — our District President, Teresa Nichols.
We truly appreciated her taking the time to join us, visit with our members, and show her support for our Auxiliary. It’s always meaningful to connect with our district leadership and share the work we’re doing to support veterans, their families, and our community.
Thank you, Teresa, for spending the evening with us. We were so glad to have you! 🇺🇸

Together, our bake sale, donations, raffle, and online auction raised over $5,000 to support veterans and their families!

It was an amazing morning! We started with our VFW Post Honor Guard presenting the colors at Britta's Chase, an event put on by Meant to Soar. The forecasted weather may have kept some of the registrants away, but the cooler temps and light breeze were a welcome respite from our extreme heat. Our Post and Auxiliary were pleased to have a table where we gave away flags, lapel pins, pens, star packets, and lots of every patriotic goodies. And really special was lining the finish line with our American flags. As the route required the runners/walkers to pass through three times to complete the 5K, we got to cheer them all on over and over again.
