CSEA Officers, Delegates, and Activists gathered in Midtown Manhattan for the 116th Annual Delegates Meeting to share ideas, strengthen our union, and stand united in support of our members. Together, we are stronger!

This week, Local 010 and Local 010 Judiciary Unit officers and delegates were front and center at CSEA Local 1000’s 116th Annual Delegates Meeting in New York City!

We proudly represented our members as we came together to conduct the business of our union, explore ways to strengthen our collective voice, and develop strategies to better serve and represent our membership.

Throughout the week, we engaged in meaningful discussions, gained valuable knowledge and new skills, and exchanged ideas with our Brothers and Sisters in Labor from across New York State.

Together, we continue to learn, grow, and stand united in our commitment to building a stronger union and advocating for the members we proudly represent.

Today marks 25 years since the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, a day that forever changed our nation and the lives of countless New Yorkers. Among the thousands of live lost were five of our own CSEA members at the State Department of Taxation and Finance: Yvette Anderson, Florence Cohen, Harry Goody, Marian “Marty” Hrycak, and Dorothy Temple.

As we commemorate this solemn anniversary, CSEA remembers the members we lost that day and honors all those who responded in the days, weeks and months that followed. We also recognize those who continue to live with the lasting effects of the attacks and reaffirm our commitment to never forget.

Join us on Tuesday!

CSEA family, come join us on Tuesday, September 8th, at for Our City, Our Fight, Our Future, a rally and march beginning on Liberty Street in Lower Manhattan.

We will meet at the Region 2 office (125 Maiden Lane, 5th Floor) at 3 PM. We will have food and refreshments, along with t-shirts. The rally will begin at 4:30 and we will march to Foley Sq.
