Hello Compass Community!

We are very excited to share with you that Compass Charter School staff have come together to unionize! We made this decision because we believe in Compass.

We hold deeply the values of equity, inclusion, and sustainability that characterize our school’s mission, and are committed to Compass’s health, success, and future growth. The recognition of the staff as respected partners will help to neutralize power differentials, embody anti-racist practices, and develop a truly sustainable school community that is viable for years to come. We love teaching and supporting Compass kids, and believe having a union will create better learning conditions and help make Compass even stronger!

In the coming weeks, we will hold an election by mail where staff members will have the opportunity to make their voices heard. We believe deeply in the democratic values of this process and look forward to sharing the results with you soon.
