Earlier this week, Individuals and staff on enjoyed a lovely Memorial Day barbecue! Everyone took advantage of the clearing skies and warmer temperatures, gathering in the backyard for some terrific food, great music, and a special performance by Michelangelo on his beautiful new guitar! Individuals also showed off their patriotic t-shirts celebrating the 250th anniversary of the U.S., as everyone came together to commemorate the holiday.

I/DD providers continue to face detrimental staffing shortages and rising operating costs.

A full 4% TII in the final New York State budget would help greatly alleviate the burden on providers, staff, and the I/DD community.

Congratulations to our amazing Charles Avenue residence on an outstanding audit outcome! State auditors praised the staff’s excellent teamwork and well-organized documentation, noting the confidence and accuracy displayed when answering questions about the residence and our Individuals. Surveyors also credited the Residence Supervisor (Go Asia!), noting that her hard work is reflected in the program’s success.
