ILA’s Director of Psychological Services Dr. Rosenie Blanc, Ed.D., will be presenting at this year’s NYSABA conference in Albany on October 29th! The annual event brings together behavior analysts and professionals from related behavioral health and human service fields, including clinicians, educators, researchers, students, supervisors, and organizational leaders.
Dr. Blanc’s presentation will focus on distinguishing skill deficits from environmental and systems-level performance barriers. While many organizations turn to more training as a solution, Dr. Blanc will examine how Management can better assess variables such as expectations, resources, workflow, feedback and competing demands that play a role in impacting staff performance.
While overseeing and mentoring Behavior Intervention Specialists at ILA, Dr. Blanc regularly provides evidence-based findings on assessing Individuals’ behaviors. Her clinical expertise, thought leadership, and successful collaboration with our teams helps to ensure that our Individuals continue to receive the highest quality care. Involving family members on the journey is crucial. “We want families to feel comfortable knowing that we are enabling their loved ones to live their best lives,” Dr. Blanc says.
