Brookings Lions Club Financial support is possible to sponsor eye exams, eyeglasses, hearing aids for individuals in need.

*Club networking luncheon with an educational presentation on the 1t and 3rd Mondays of each month
*Periodic social events just for fund
*Raising community awareness through a spaghetti feed & pie auction, SDSU ice cream booth at the Brookings Summer Arts Festival and ushering at SDSU basketball games. VISION & HEARINGS:
*KidsSight vision screening & screening support for children: www.lionskidsightusa.org/
*Collect used eyeglasses and hearing aids for redistribution to third world countries. YOUTH:
*Once each quarter recognize Middle School Student for their outstanding citizenship
HUNGER:
*Support the SDSU food Fight during the Summit League
ENVIRONMENT:
Established green space & we continue to support Our Lions Park at 1st Street and Medary Avenue
Road ditch clean-up for a section of highway 14

📅 Dropoff Location: Share the Warmth trailer in the First Bank & Trust parking lot

We’re collecting NEW OR GENTLY USED winter clothing. Coats, snow pants, hats, gloves, scarves, and boots!

Last year, over 1,000 coats were given away in ONE DAY. 😲 And every year, one of our biggest needs is adult-sized coats.

Have coats hanging in the back of your closet? Kids outgrew their winter gear? Found a great deal on new clothing? This is your chance to pass it on!

Ice cream at the 2026 Brookings Arts Festival – more than just a refreshing treat!

Thanks to all who joined us to enjoy SDSU ice cream this year. Your purchase helped support student vision screening, eye glasses and hearing aids for the needy, good citizenship promotion, hunger alleviation, Lions Park, and numerous other community service projects.
