Our October Member of the month is Ajay Feucht! Ajay being a first-year member has been very active in events and played a big role in Homecoming activities. Our September member of the month is Shaedan Rasmussen! Shaedan represented Brookings FFA at the State Fair this last week showing cattle. She demonstrated “Learning to Do” by developing skills in an agriculture setting preparing her for the future. Congratulations Shaedan!

This past week a few of our members had the opportunity to visit local businesses with the State Officer Team. During these visits, they learned about different career opportunities in the Brookings area, discussed the different aspects of running a business, and grew their communication skills with industry professionals.

This last week our officer team had an amazing time during our retreat! We spent time planning events, working as a team, setting goals, and discussing what the Brookings FFA chapter will look like throughout the next year. A big thank you to SDState LFEC for letting us tour your facility and Brookings Regional Growth Alliance for presenting new opportunities to get involved in the community. We can’t wait to share what we have planned for this upcoming year!
